Here are just a list of English-related things that people mess up:

    1. Mixing up their and they're.
    ex: "Their so cool!"
    correction: "They're so cool!"

    2. Mixing up your and you're.
    ex: "Your a nice person."
    correction: "You're a nice person."

    3. Unnecessary use of apostrophes.
    ex: "I have many dog's."
    correction: "I have many dogs."

    4. Incorrect use of an and a.
ex: "I just got a A on my quiz!"
correction: "I just got an A on my quiz!"

Please don't mess these up again, people. Make the internet a little bit better.

thats from oatmeal isn't it strat?

    now troll time!:
i dont think they're is any need to be so annoyed at bad spellings on the internet
i mean theirs plenty of other more important issue's to talk about than correct speling and grammars
i think you need to get you're prioritie's straight
i mean, yes, you can get a A in english, but weather or not its useful later in this life or a other life, i dont know
    thats you're judgement

ok, i think i covered all of nate's beefs
    yep, definately did

please note: i only sometimes mix up its/it's and a lot/alot

I hope you said "annoying at" instead of "annoyed by" on purpose. Otherwise your mocking of people with poor grammar becomes a very, very sad thing. D:

(Dictionary) At is the preposition of general (usually static) location. <<< To which location were you referring? The location of bad spelling? -Facepalmfacepalmfacepalm-

lol the funny thing is how people are so unsophisticated
they say its the "internet" so they dont care about grammar
but why would you say "its over their" when you know "its over there"?
theyre both 5 letters so they should know which one to use but they choose the wrong one.
because its the "internet" which is total bs
i understand when people dont use apostrophes or abbreviate things but choosing the wrong word doesnt make sense
you can only assume that they didnt have proper education

The Internet is an example of an internet. Nobody so far has used a capital for the first letter of 'Internet' even though they are using it as a noun.

I'm not saying that I always remember. I just think it is interesting that it isn't written properly in a thread about spelling and grammar.

Btw, who the hell types 'alot'?

Bleh. I just like making myself understandable for everyone, because some people don't seem to care that there are also foreigners in this board who don't have mastery of the English language. And if someone types in a less than understandable way, I don't think it's fun for them either.

I know my English isn't perfect either, but I still think this is better than not caring at all.
