The Kammy Awards were a project where members of the Vault would vote for outstanding achievements in the past year.
Some of the titles awarded were:
Penspinner of the Year
Most improved Penspinner
Most unique
Best Pen mod
Most Stylish
Best New trick
Best Attitude
Most Innovative
Best Battler
Biggest PS-Addict
Best Single Vid
Best Single combo
Best Sense of humor
Biggest Contribution to UPSB
Best affilated site
Journalist Award
Best Avatar
Most Helpful
Best PS-Related Thread
Moderator of the Year
Not all of them were PS related and they only concerned UPSB members.
We could restart this and release for year 2009. the kammys were released in February so we have time. -

- Integrity ( note, I can't really evaluate this... but if you have a history of being exceptionally fair then it would be a plus)
- If all else fails, first come first served.... I really don't want to resort to this but if I really can't decide between two people the person who asked first will get the spot.
Responsibilties would include:
- Brainstorming categories
- Nominating members
- Voting for the winners
- Being reasonably active for the next 2 weeks -

haha yes, i saw that, i just didn't know if there was a poll as well, weighted less. like 80% judge's decision, 20% public or something.
in any case, i don't understand the vault's involvement if the 5-7 judges are the only ones deciding anything? -

i don't we should make things so that it's like.. make a "biggest spammer" one with zuolin in mind, and to give to zuolin
instead, it should be "biggest ___" and then figure out who best fits it

Careful though, as long as they're not actual negative attributes about the person I'm fine with this. Most Hated On is good because it doesn't say anything about the person (the hating may or may not be deserved), etc -

These are what i'm talking about, that's just outright offensive, I'd be pissed as hell to get these, no sense in pissing people off.
Funnyones like biggest stalker and biggest suckup are cool though, I'd like to see more of that. (Those aren't inherently offensive, but calling someone annoying/homo/attention whore is. We're supposed to be the "influencial" people of UPSB, showing that kind of behavior isn't wise in my opinion) -

1. upsb only, it's meant for UPSB members, and if there are any non-UPSB awards, it should be assumed as "from the perspective of UPSB members". -
