Well, I think the Driver's Ed programs vary per state. I didn't have to do anything like that in my class.

pink slip or permit? if its a pink slip, its not worth it, imo.

you can pay like (i think its like 30?) to get one; and its pretty self explanitory.

if its a permit, then go for it

Ummm if you live in California you have to do Drivers Ed before you go and get your permit. I did mine online for like 60 bucks or some shit
my schools drivers ed was weak. I really couldnt tell you but idk I would just ask your teacher about it or idk call the DMV or some shit. Good luck with that though getting your licence is vcool.JPG

Naw, they wouldn't make you do a packet to get your permit. That sounds pretty stupid.
In NJ you either get you're permit by taking 6 hours of driving lessons when you're 16 or by waiting 'till you're 17 (after you pass the written exam, that is)

You need to take drivers ed to get your permit. The pink slip is just proof that you passed drivers ed.

    This only applies to California:

To get pink slip: Pass Driver's Ed (SRC)

To get permit: Obtain pink slip and white slip (from driving instructor). Pass the permit test at the DMV.

To get license: Go through 10 hours(?) of behind-the-wheel driving to obtain a yellow slip. Wait 6 months and take the behind-the-wheel driving test at the DMV.

Ba-da-bang, you are legally a registered driver in California.

    ahhh that was fun....

Yeah they ask for a pink slip when you take the written test to get a permit.

Yay Illinois, just take driver's Ed. Get Permit at beginning, and then 50 hours of driving + 6 months = license.
