Do You Ever Close Your Eyes While Spinning?

Lately I have been trying to do different techniques. One of them which seems to work for me is spinning with eyes closed or looking away from me hand. I never really follow certain breakdowns in my head. I usually just let my fingers improvise in mid-spin. The biggest one for me is the Twisted Sonic Bust. I am a lot better with not looking at my hand. I get more busts this way. When I look at my hand or have eyes open, I can only do 1 or 2 busts.

    Comments?

    It's damn damn damn easy.
For aerials you will need a great amount of control, not to mention luck.(IMO)

I can do lots of tricks with my eyes closed. Those tricks are like already close to mastery.or perfect.

Yeah it sometimes is easier, like you said, just let your hand improvise... I almost every time spin w/o looking at my hand while talking to a teacher or someone, and I can spin flawlessly and for a long time, though a little bit repetitively

It really helps you learn the "feel" f the pen and can improve you i think as a spinner. A lot of tricks have to do with your fingers feeling the pen out and by not looking at it you develop muscle memory which lets you do tricks more consistently and I think, helps improve your trick to another level where you do not need to mentally think about the tricks you're doing (if you ever do...)

yeah I understand what you mean. Like usually I am spinning in my Bio. class or Spanish and half the time I dont even realize that I am even spinning. But I do learn to feel the pen etc.

    Thanks.

Hmmm, what relation do you think this plays to gloved spinning where this feeling and contact is exactly what's takin away? I think this might help for times when you feel like you dont have contact with the pen but wish to continue spinning you could use your eyes and instead of feeeling like know how to move your fingers so the pen does what you want?

Glove spinning is weird. I was doing that yesterday in fact tongue.gif. Its strange because like you said, you no longer have direct contact with the pen.
