When you do cont fl ta or cont fl ta rev, what positions do you put the rest of your fingers in?
For me, when i started practicing them not long ago, I did them with my fingers loosely in a fist and my thumb pointing forward at about 30-35 degrees, like a variation of the thumbs up position but with the thumb leaning forward.
Recently, I tried doing them in a variation of the gun position, where you hold up your index and thumb like you're pointing a gun at someone, but with the thumb leaning towards you at the side, not straight up. The rest of my fingers are loosely kept inwards.
How do you do them?
Which method do you feel is easier?
Which do you think is the most visually appealing one?
Pros and cons?
It's mainly on our individual style so I guess we cannot argue that there would be a superior position to do the trick, just what works best for you.

Probably just the way I do them, with my hand half open. Looks the most relaxed, in my opinion.

it depends on the nature of the rest of the combo for me....but my most consistent/highest number are from hand half open
