Serious Discussion / Discussions with yourself
Literally discussions.

When I think about something sometimes I have these discussions with myself in my head e.g. I talk to myself as 2 people, I refer to myself as you. Example of a thought:
"You could do that."
"No you can not because ..."
"Well how about you try this"
I talked to some friends about this and none of them do that so I was wondering if anybody else does it. -

I do it.
I talk to myself sometimes and I respond to myself with "you" sometimes too.
like: You're an idiot for making that wrong turn
or.. Thanks alot. you just screwed yourself. -

I do this all the time. I think I would rather have a conversation between two me's; than with other people!

I do it.... sometimes it helps out =].
Like saying it aloud to, like helps you make your thoughts more concrete I guess, because in your mind they're jsut like jello until you actual have to put worrds to them. -

I debate some decisions in my head with internal voices. It's normal o.0

i talk to myself only during the time when im thinking if something is right or wrong, with one voice is smart one while the other voice is raged.

I explain things to myself sometimes after learning it. Like teaching myself it after I know it.
Not actual conversations more like one person talking and the other person being a listener kinda thing. -

Ya same for me...Unless I'm tired or something, the other person my voice is talking to won't actually respond lol....
Does anyone sound the words out in their head when they read? Apparently if you don't it means your a faster reader. -

QUOTEDoes anyone sound the words out in their head when they read? Apparently if you don't it means your a faster reader.
tbh I don't know, because when I consciously think about whether im doing it or not, i'm always sounding the words. but I think that when I'm completely unaware and i just read, it doesnt sound -

I don't, yeah it means I'm faster, but rarely I'll be wrong about words, because I just look at them and assume what they are.
If I see a sentence I don't read every word, I glance at every word and deduct what it is. Faster but less accurate I guess -

I talk to myself any time 'cause i'm very entertaining!!
Jokes aside talking to myself in my head helps me stay alert anytime. -

I like to talk to myself. It's great.
I'd rather talk to myself with "you" or whatever than to some people lol -

I do this 95% of the time when I'm awake, but sometimes it gets out of hand. On an average day, I have two personalities. There are no abnormalities about these two characters. But on certain days, one of these characters makes me get really depressed (don't feel like explaining why), to the point where I actually skipped class to pull myself together. Anyways, there really isn't anything too special about talking in your head with a seemingly different character.

I talk when i'm alone, but i don't address myself, does that count? I just like talk to nobody lol
like if i miss a turn in a car alone, i'll say "Fuck, I knew i'd miss it" etc -

Lately I've been doing this more and more in my head, to keep myself alert.
But I talk mostly in the first person, eg. "What do I see?" -

Isn't this the way to ask yourself questions before doing stuffs?Like should i rob the bank? What happens if i did?Maybe i shoulden't etc.
I starting asking/talking to myself since like 10 years old.
