This mod is called the Dr. Pencil. It uses parts that I had laying around from past mods. If you don't have these parts just laying around, it could be very expensive. The amount of customizability offered by this mod are outstanding. You can have a light weight, medium-light weight, medium-heavy weight, or stick. You can also make this mod any length you want! It's a good mod for both new and average spinners, though I don't know if good spinners will like the smaller diameter of the barrel as it is significantly smaller then a KT or CT body. Overall, good mod, and very easy to make.

    Stats
    -------------------------------------------------
    Name Dr. Pencil
    COG: COP
    Length: Any length you want
    Weight: 10, 12, 15, or 20 grams
    Style: double sided
    Writing-Mechanism: no-ink
    Ink-Type: none
Estimated-Cost: $15 if you buy all parts instead of having them just laying around
    -------------------------------------------------
    Materials List:
    (2) Dr. Grip COG pen (must be pen version)
    (1) pencil of your choice
    -------------------------------------------------

    Spoiler:

1.) Gather your materials (NOTE: only one Dr. Grip COG is shown, but two are needed).

2.) Take apart the Dr. Grip COG pens. Parts shown on right are needed, parts shown in middle are optional, parts shown on left are not needed

3.) If you know your optimal length for a pen, then here's what you do for this step. Take your optimal length and subtract 9 CM. Cut your pencil to that length. (optimal length-9CM=length that you cut pencil to)

4.) Stick these pieces onto the ends of the pencil. STOP HERE IF YOU WANT A MOD WEIGHING 10 GRAMS

5.) Add the dark colored grips onto the metal pieces. STOP HERE IF YOU WANT A MOD WEIGHING 12 GRAMS

6.) Add the Dr. Grip COG tips onto the threads of the metal piece. STOP HERE IF YOU WANT A MOD WEIGHING 15 GRAMS

7.) Add the Dr. Grip grips onto the dark colored grips. THIS MAKES THE MOD 20 GRAMS (NOTE: if you cut the grips in half, the weight should drop to 17 grams)

    -------------------------------------------------
    Q&A {or Troubleshooting}

Q: The tips don't fit onto my pencil!
A: Push down harder, sometimes the paint on your pencil is too thick for the metal tips to fit on

    Q: Why?
A: The answer is 23, the world is tilted at a 3º angle to the left.

    C&C are welcomed.

iColor and some other guy on mebeam a bit ago.

and the spare parts was referring to the actual metal pieces that served as the base for the tips/grips. I can understand not having the tips or cloudy grips available any more though....

spinning space is like 1/3 of the pen it self, abit small

Valid point. Spinning space on mine is 7 CM or 10 CM if you count the ends of the metal tips where the pencil goes into.

Thanks for the tips, both of you guys. I'll try to think of a way to get more spinning space, though I doubt it's possible unless people would like to cut metal :/

Horrible Fugly, And I highly doubt it's 23 grams.

Why do you subtract 11cm from optimal length, then add another 2cm back? That's just adding a stupid step, when you could just subtract 9....

it's more to make clear that the combined length of the metal piece is 11 cm, but then the pencil fits into the metal piece is equivalent to two centimeters combined.

anyways, I'm going to re-do the photos with a pen whose length is 18 CM, which is an ideal length for more spinners then the 16 CM which I like.

I assumed you were talking about the version with the cut dr. grips, so I did a measurement. Turns out some of my measurements were actually off! or at least it seems so. I'll be re-doing my grams measuring and updating the original post. Thanks for the catch there.

    EDIT: pics updated!

Yeah seriously... The clear grips are used A LOT by modders...

I think you should have at least 4 or 5 requests before making a tut?

    Looks really ugly too...
Maybe if you replaced the clear grips with the clear back piece of the dr. grip and slid inserts in there it might look a bit nicer...
