Pens & Mods / [project][2.14] Artistic Pen Modding

As we already know, pen modding is already an art. This is because the mods produced nowadays really hold a lot of artistic value, the PMWT has proven that. Now the idea it make the actual process of pen modding artistic. We can do this by using pen manipulation. I can see two appealing aspects to this idea:

    1) We are spinning the pen to be modded as we are modding it, starting from its unmodded state (possibly we can only do easy tricks initially) to its finished state (where the tricks become amazing). The idea is to keep spinning that pen while modding it and improving its spinability.

    2) We are spinning the tools used to mod so that the modding steps we take become artistic. For example we find artistic ways of cutting a barrel, or putting on grips and tips.

Can anybody think of the kind of tools can be manipulated, what steps can be made artistic, how we can mod a pen while spinning it? And finally, who wants to try?

    Definitely a cool Concept.

I'm not even sure where to start on it haha.

The only real in-spinning mods that have currently been done are simple things like removing a cap from an RSVP or a color-change on the LED mod.

However when it comes to the modding process, I think you can stylishly cut grips or doing things over-dramatically. Then that really comes down to editing.

here are some observations after initial experiments:

1- One aspect is to present the modding materials/parts in a "stylish" way -- much similar to how magicians present the setup of their tricks.
2- However, it should not simply be showing off the pen in its current modded state, then perform a modding step, then stop and spin it again. It needs to be seamlessly integrated.
3- For now, it's better if you prepare all the parts "off-stage" and only make the assembly of the parts artistic. This is much easier and doesn't require cutting and other stuff that would simply not be possible to execute in this way.
4- Any knowledge gained on capping/uncapping and putting on grips can be re-integrated into the pen spinning repertoire. As an example, consider tohlz's opening/closing combos where the pen is uncapped and recapped.

It would seem to be better to be broken down into segments. Doing a mini-combo that mods a small part and then stopping and showing the pen, then a second mini-combo that mods another part and so on... Of course, all modding won't be able to be done in this way. Maybe a second pen could be spun and the modding done with the other hand at the same time?
