We've all have heard about the thumb around harmonic and sonic harmonic, but how about a charge harmonic?
I fail when it comes to a rev charge, but i was just thinking about the possibility of a charge harmonic existing
i haven't seen anyone use it and it's not known as one of the harmonics

do you think it'll look nice at all?
i dont' think i can really see it being used in a combo too well, but just you know, when one's in class and needs to spin their pen, could the charge harmonic be a more well known and used trick?

Yeah, Charge Harmonic is completely possible, it's just not that interesting. biggrin.gif

If you've ever seen Twisted Sonic Harmonic, the middle portion is almost a Charge Harmonic.

okay, *sigh*, and here i thought that it would possibly look nice
oh wells, i still should probably learn rev charge

    Booyah!

Edit: wow, after actually watching...that was some really crappy spinning. >_<

it's still much better than what i can do at this point ohmy.gif
but i guess you're right, i'm just gonna stick with doing my ta harmonics and sonic harmonics durign class biggrin.gif

Charge Normal (palm down) -> Charge Reverse (palm up)

Just an idea to make it not boring.

Exactly what I'd done 2 years ago, for Trick of the Week in UPSB.

I don't think it would really cool anyways.

Charge harmonic doesn't even sound like a trick... It just sounds, boring.

    That's because it's not a trick, it's a combo.

shouldn't charge harmonic be done with like wrist action? you do a palm up reverse charge and a palm down charge.

it like continues the motion. wink.gif

Charge Harmonic is just Charge Normal > Charge Reverse or Charge Reverse > Charge Normal, anything else you do besides that is personal preference.

well i don't believe that a charge harmonic would have too much appeal anyway
but you know, ta harmonic and sonic harmonic aren't all that interesting either after doing it after awhile, but yet i do it anyway cause it requires minimal effort and can be done in class without drawing too much attention
so i believe in the first post, i mentioned the possibility of charge harmonic just being added to this repertoire of small combos that are just done to keep one's fingers busy

yea i think charge harmonic is cool done palm down and stop each charge and charge rev at the same place it started.

maby you could be doing a clockwise combo and then do a charge harmonic into a anti-clockwise combo. (if I
had the skill I would make the video)

mmmhm. VERY embarrassing when you're doing reverse shadow/ shadow and it flys across the room before skidding to a stop in front of your teacher ohmy.gif
I dropped that class, since I fell off the chair(s) after that happened while reaching for it... ( I was sitting with my legs out across three chairs >.<')

    hmm I often do sonic 23-12 -> charge 12 -> twisted sonic rev 12-23
and there is charge harmonic too tongue.gif but I can do it continous too and it looks smooth enough wink.gif

charge harmonic isnt that intresting due to the fact that they look almost identical XD but ya of course u can do it.

since it would have ALOT of pauses cause it's impossible to do it smooth without pauses(at least i think it is) i don't think ppl would like to use it in combos unless they want to change direction or something o.o

Lots of other trick combinations are used to change direction, why not a charge harmonic? And it's only one pause, I don't know where you're gettings 'pauses' from.

It's possible to do it without a pause, Charge normal (palm up) > Charge reverse (palm down).

pauses=doing it like you do ta harmonic...over and over again

and i just think it just looks bad....try doing it yourself....i don't like it...>.<

charge harmonic just seems unnatural...so weird
