    Hi there.

    I've been spinning for about 4 months, got all the fundamentals down. I ordered parts for a Minwoo mod recently from penwish, I'm not expecting them to get them till after the snow stops though. dry.gif

    Yeah, I know that the Minwoo mod is not recommended for newbies (as any other heavy mods are). But, I felt extremely tempted to make it since it looks so badass. For the time being, I'm spinning Bictories.

    Thanks =] We had a couple power outages, nothing really that major.

    The 3-5 ft icicles hanging from everyone's gutters is kinda intimidating though. ._.

    What the hell.
    That freaking pisses me off.
    About like 3 out of 5 days this past week, everyone was like "OMG NO SKEWL TOMORROW" and we ended up having school.
    There was an 80% of snowing two nights ago, and turns out radar shows the weather completely avoiding us. It's snowing in ALL the cities around us though. bangHead.gif

    Well, welcome anyway. And by the way, personally I think you should spin whatever you want to. Using a pen like a minwoo mod will make new tricks very easy to learn, but when you get to advanced tricks, you won't have any other "step up" to look forward to, so you'll have to learn stuff like power tricks with the same pen you learned stuff like sonics with.
    It'll also feel pretty different after only spinning bictories.

    EDIT: and yes minwoo mod is indeed very badass.

    In terms of minwoo mod, it's a very good mod, but not for newbs(sorry), try putting a grip matic tip in the front, and a signo or g3 in the back, I did that with mine once, because I thought minwoo mod was amazing, sexy, but WAY to heavy. I loved it.

    I already dislocated my thumb doing Thumbaround > Thumbspin 1.5 > Devil's Horns 27 times. haha

    I also find that it is getting increasingly difficult to spin with light mods (comssa), I think I should put the Minwoo mod down for a while.
