So, i was in this lifeguard class. My teacher was talking about saving lives while i was thinking about pen spinning. I suddenly got the idea. Pen Spinning under water.

Since the gravity is different under water what would it be like? Easier maybe? It might be good for learning new tricks. But things would be a a lot slower. Who knows. I kinda wanna try it but, I'm afraid I'll get caught in the pool with a pen. Maybe in a bath tub. Haha, so I'm just wondering. What do you guys think about this?

Yeh this would be awesome cause you could like throw the pen up and it would slowly comeback ;p

You could only do it with a cheap one like rsvp v1 so it doesnt get ruined. i dont think weight would matter underwater smile.gif

    Penspinning is impossible underwater x)

    You even can't do a ta laugh.gif

erhm.. well, i find that most pens float in water.. so you'll need to get a dense, heavy mod to get it to sink-- if it's too light/hollow (kt will float cause it's hollow), it'll just float to the top and you can't spin it at all

i've already tried pen spinning under water tongue.gif with huroni and awonw, didn't work

a really heavy pen would help too, you'd need a lot more momentum underwater

    ....Why?

Haha Ive spun wun of those torpedos underwater, I belive some of the properties of spinning in a liquid would make most tricks that require gravity a bit hard to do and a LOT less appealing visually.

hmm, unclear if this was at me, but it's fairly well-known that water has considerably more drag force than air, so even with the holes it'll take notably more momentum to get the pen to go around the finger for say a thumbaround, usually the easiest way to remedy this is a heavier pen

i'd say holes would make it really hard to spin. It would be like if u dragged a bucket underwater u pose to a bucket with a lid.

no.. a better comparison would be a bucket with holes as opposed to a bucket with no holes...

Lol when I asked why, I meant "Why spin a pen underwater?" I know that water has more drag force than air tongue.gif lol

I feel honoured i have a pen named after me.Jk...

I tried it a while back all i bothered to do was a few fingerpasses. You have more control of the pen but less control at the same time. Hard to explain.

I think it would be good for defying gravity. Like aerials and stuff, if the pen sinks slowly. Also you could spin possibly upside down.
