I just want to know the famous penspinners today.
Please post the famous penspinner u know & the reason/special ability of him/her that makes him/her famous.
Ex: "Mr. Example 1", for the best tutorial. Or "Mr. example 2", who did the longest thumspin ever.

The list needs some edit: more creative spinners. Sure power's great, but cool tricks could lure them in, to show the styles like 2p2h and spinless;

Well he and I both worked with NYU grad students on a marketing commercial competition once (we helped them win that) for some pens made of recycled materials
We (along with Loanshark, Huroni, Coolatta, and Dimachka) also worked with Pentel to advertise RSVPs where we did a promotional thing in Washington Square (in NYC).
--In both cases, Xero probably communicated with them more than anyone else
Then in one of pentel's pen spinning contests (the thing we were promoting at Washington Square), Xero was interviewed and was the main figurehead for that contest.

On the other hand though lol, Kam got us all those connections in the first place.
Kam had a pen spinning stand at a toy show (i believe?) in NYC and was interviewed on some radio show thing.
Kam also was brought in and interviewed in Chicago for some news show
He was also the main figurehead for when Fox News covered the SoCal Gathering last summer
He also gets Minwoo a bunch of his connections to be in commercials and shows.
Kam's also recognized as the one who popularized pen spinning.

when i think public figures, i kinda only think of spinners that show up on tv/commercials/represent ps for the outside worldd =\
soo.. public figures to me are..
Kam- showed up on tv a couple times for various shows/news, helped the production of spinz
Minwoo- 2nd place of wt09 and did a couple of commercials and was also the main spinner during the galileo news show and KiKa show
Spinnerpeem-winner of wt09 which got him invited to korea and hk as a guest
Seven- winner of the psaj tourney which got him invited to HK as a promotional figure
Bonkura- showed up on a couple japanese tv shows?
Those are teh faces that I see around a lot, so i just consider those pen spinning public figures (i might've missed a few?) -

i don't think that just everyone who shows up on tv is considered a public figure--just depends on how many times they show up and how large the show is -

talking about TV show appearance, CNstar went on one of the most popular chinese channel's most popular show(by himself), i'm pretty sure that show had wayyy more audiences than any other show pen spinners have been on (considering china's population, that show might have had more audiences than some countries' total population)

talking about public figures, HKPSA's admin Only organized many activities in HK including that SEVEN, spinnerpeem hongkong performance a few month ago
and PSH admin Solar worked with a company and produced a book+dvd set that is widely sold in China (can be found in many chinese cities' major book stores) -

Yeah, he did, but for thailand, i think spinnerpeem makes a better public figure than dongza =\ so... dongza doesn't get much of the spotlight cause he's being overshadowed by peem -
