going down to california in a couple weeks with my Dad, schedule looks like this:
Sunday March 28th:
-- arrive in LA around 1:00pm
-- rent a car
-- go to staples center, disney thing
-- at night we drive to La Jolla
-- sleep
Monday March 29th:
-- hang around UCSD while my pops is in meetings
-- hang out at the hotel in the evening
Tuesday March 30th:
-- wrap up meetings at UCSD around lunch
-- head off to Santa Monica
-- hang around for a bit
-- stay the night there
Wednesday March 31st:
-- kick around for a weeeeeeeeee bit
-- then head for airport+home
red = free time

hmm..well sunday is my only freeday.
plus, since youre in downtown, you can drive to kino.
you dont necessarily have to go to kino, its just a suggestion xD
BUT if you want to meet up at kino, kino's upstairs, and theres some tables downstairs.
Its like a plaza kinda thing, some restraunts (curry house, starbucks around the corner). -

The buildings around there are EPIC. city hall, the osaka hotel or something like that.
only a couple though.

uhm uhm... near UCSD, there is Price Center, its sorta a student center thing? a gathering center for the people of the school, its open to everyone, there are some bookstores, food places, things like that. its a good spot, they have tables and things to chill at... -
