Don't try to make it leave your hand...

The easiest way to figure it out is to just basically... abuse your pen.

Hurt it, get angry... and you'll get it.

What pen spinner in their right mind would want to abuse their precious pen? I'd never hurt my skyblue + yellow clear comssa on purpose.

Leigun is a weapon not to be used, please stop teaching it.

the leigun isn't a weapon, sheesh, if you wanted to hrut somone you'd stab somone witht the tip of the pen or throw it at somone like a ball, you can't break skin easily with a leigun, throw a pencil at somones face really hard and they bleed....

If you can't figure out how to do it after reading my wiki description and watching Scott's video that was linked above, then you are not the kind of person who should be allowed to wield the power of the Leigun anyway. shakeshead.gif

Seriously, it's a Fulltap with pressure built up to make the pen fly away.

    liegun = most overated trick.
Mainly you just throw a pen from one hand to the other with practice and precision. >.<

    Yah it is xD
A leigun shouldn't even be counted as a real trick >.<

At no point do you throw the pen for a Leigun. There's no hand movement in the trick. It's moved by pressure build-up and release between the fingers. If you're throwing the pen, you're not doing the trick.

How do you build up pressure in the hand? Doesn't it just fly out when you tap it?

  19. sketching
    Date: Mon, Mar 10 2008 04:16:05

You pin the back of the pen between the side of the thumb and the base on the index finger. As you push the front of the pen with the tip of the index finger, you build up pressure.

if this helps, sometimes when i do leigun, the pen gets stuck...wot i do is move my hands forward in a quick movement and not only it goes with incredible speed(yes i fucked my left hand a bunch of times) but also it goes very far away!

    and

a great thing to use leigun with is twisted sonic...good luck^^

I'm still having trouble understanding how to build up pressure. How do you clamp the pen so when you apply pressure, the pen doesn't move?

I did see this video http://media.putfile.com/leigun-spoken-tutorial but it didn't help much, not very clear.

You're pretty much sandwiching the pen between your thumb(which is bent at an angle) and your index. Just move your index finger as if you are doing a TA, and then release the pressure.

It's like doing a Halftap, but with pressure so it flies away.

FrozenIce always leiguns me at school with a ballsign...

Anyways, a Leigun is like a halftap release right? I use a slight forward jerk on my hand to get it to go somewhere.

Well, it's kind of like learning how to put a NeoSonic in a combo, it usually requires pressure, but once you master it, you don't need pressure. Same with the Leigun. I practiced it so much, my Leiguns actually feels more like a failed thumbaround that goes too fast. But it still flies pretty fast--straight into Fall. tongue.gif

Basically, once you master Leigun with building pressure, you can do it with minimal pressure or without any at all. It's almost like a failed Halftap that goes flying.

Well like what the other guy said, TW Sonic to leigun is a pretty easy way of linking into it.
