    Hello (:
Have you ever wanted to have a SEVEN watercolor mod, but had no parts nor money to get them? If so - this tutorial is made for you (:

It's a well known fact, that Pentel Watercolor pens are expensive and really hard to get. But that's not a problem - not anymore (: The only things you'll need are:

    - A double capped M&M - you can also use CT to make a black-bodied watercolor mod [:
    - A piece of grip - should be a bit thicker than Signo DX, but thinner than anyball grip, I've used a no-name signo lookalike (;
    - Good intentions ^^

    1. Cut off two 0.6-0.7 cm pieces of your grip - the cut doesn't have to be perfect, beacuse the grip is to be hidden ^^

    2. Put the grip pieces into KT/CT/M&M caps

    3. Put the caps onto the body and push them as far as the space between them reaches exactly 9.6 cm. My suggestion for you is to remove the inktube and clean the body first, but I didn't want to do this with my M&M pen biggrin.gif
Thanks to grips the caps should be holding tightly in their position ^^

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Congratulations, you've just finished a fake watercolor mod body (:
Isn't it easy? Now you can just go straight to the SEVEN watercolor mod tutorial and finish the whole mod (:

I hope it'll help some of you to enjoy having your own cheap SEVEN Watercolor mod ^^
    Have fun spinning biggrin.gif

Lol nice smile.gif I guess helpful to get the length of the mod right.. would the feeling be about the same?

    My concerns are:
    is it stable?
    would the caps crack?

    ^^

you could easily just use a supertip body

@prince, a watercolour body is essentially a longer m&m body , feels exactly the same

Feeling of M&M and watercolor are pretty much the same, I cannot feel any difference ^^ The caps are holding tightly, but there's no way to break them - the rubber amortizes all the impacts ^^

There's a little difference when you use a CT body, but it's still pretty similar (:

This is really simple. But I tried it out, It works pretty well. The caps are pretty stable.

    not necessarily.
the grips that he used are signo like, and thick, thus attaching it to the body sturdily.

lakubo grip is a complete waste, plus it tapers and then widens

try different stuff? some anyball/profile rings look about the same thickness.

Nah, those taper as well, as well as that he stated that anyballs are too thick. Signo DX is the best way to go, and if you can't do that, use an RSVP.

Sfsr and I used to just two of the small caps in half and put one on each side, because the big caps slide over half of the small caps.

but then you have to have two, instead of just one.
