January 26th FINAL DEADLINE

    (#3 since one was released on UCPSB also) To make this somewhat bi-monthly atleast, I'll pretend the latest issue was released today, and try to get the second issue out at the start of februari. Does that sound good, with a deadline on the 26th of january?


    What I would like to see included:

    • Editorial (Sfsr)
    • Interview like the one in the latest issue (CrAsH)
    • Featured penspinner (Joshy from PDS)
    • Featured manipulation, like last issue? (Health with zippo manipulations? Mats with ball spinning?)
    • Yoyo-trick Tutorial (Trogz)
    • A Zombo-ish article (by... ZUMBO)
    • MX^2 (Xero)
    • Japanese Pens (Sfsr)
    • Dr KT? (cyber penguin)
    • Recent tournaments (Fratleym)
    • Updates from other boards (crasher, asakawa, who more?)
    • News about the World Cup (Sfsr)
    • Article about penspinning music (Mats)
    • Bonkura (Xero)
    • (Interceptions (Sfsr, if he has time))
    • (Charge-pass combo building (Sfsr, if he has time))
    • Penspinning story?

    Anyone who's interested in doing the formatting, please contact me! I have some skills at photoshop and InDesign myself, and I might want to get a preview of how pretty .pdf files you can make. I'd like something real-magazine-stylish though. EXAMPLE


    All interested people, please sign up here. If you sign up to something, be sure to finnish your work and send in an article. Only good excuses for not sending in what you promised will be accepted. Feel free to come with suggestions on what more could be included.

    I'll do another pen review, so if you want to make that the featured pen mod or not? You should give me some suggestions as per what pen. I'm thinkin' MX or Dr. KT

    Feel free to make a template and send it to me, KinXiom. I can't say for sure if we'll use it or not though, and I'll probably take on the responsibility to compile everything myself, no matter who's template we use.

    Just A4 size so it's printable, 72 DPI if you're doing photoshop templates.

    This is kinda failing.. the only writers we have are me, penguin, zombo and crash. We need more people we want this to be nice! Seriously, you can write about any penspinning related subject that interests you, it's really neat to see people write about what they think about different aspects of penspinning.

    Anyways, I was bored so I made a cover :D If we're gonna use it, loads of stuff is gonna be changed ofcourse (everything lol).

    that would the cover of last issue? cuz thats when we interviewed vision...

    did you ask the writers of the first issue if they're coming back?

    cuz I know Tyalis is doing something, and Crasher also.

    I just put "Vision" cause I don't know who CrAsH is interviewing this time.

    Tyalis told me he hasn't got time to write anything, I dunno about crasher. I've pmed and talked to people but everyone just says they don't have time :/ I'll see if any of the other writers from the previous issue are interested...


    It would be good if we had like a group of writers, who turn in one article for each issue.

    I don't think I can be a writer, sorry to say that. As a Singaporean, I think my English sucks =x
    And I think I am still new to this community, so don't think I have much things to write on.

    I might be able to contribute something maybe at the later part of my penspinning life...

    Ugh I was actually planning to do PS Chronicles right from Issue #1, but I've been as busy as hell...in fact I'm currently writing a script for an animation company. I haven't continued development on the series for about a year now, but I'm planning to pick it up eventually.

    So...I can do it, just not for the next few issues.

    Okay, we have Joshy as Featured Penspinner but still no featured manip. Mats could do an article about juggling but I'd rather have something less regular. Frat will write something about the recent tournaments in Korea and on JEB, we'll get news updates from JEB through crasher, I'm trying to get some news about the PSUK board, and I'll make sure we have news from other boards as well.

    What I'm missing is the following articles:

    • Article about penspinning music
    • Something short about bonkura
    • Trick/combo articles (I'll be doing 1-2 of them if I have time)
    • Penspinning story

    Not vital stuff, but things that would be fun to have included.

    @Xero - It doesn't really matter how long they, so long as they are not like a huge essay.

    Tomorrow is deadline day folks, how is progress?

    I'm aware, sfsr, that I haven't sent my article yet. Rest assured however, you will recieve it later today. I wrote it on my other computer and I can't be assed messing about with transferring it at 1:30am tongue.gif

    I have 6 articles right now, I've marked them green in the main post. I also have some news and all, and I'm going to write down a short article about the world cup. I hope to receive atleast Frats, Zombos and Joshys articles today. I also hope for the others, but I haven't really heard anything from them the latest days...

    The problem is I haven't received all articles though. I'm trying to get Joshys featured PSer article, and with that I guess the mag could be released. You can check the main post to see what articles I have and what not. I was hoping to get it out today, but I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe tomorrow.
