Hey I just started spinning yesterday and so far I can only do a thumb around and working on charging and sonic.
I was wondering if the pens I am using are good, I started with the Pilot G2 07:Pilot G2 07
But later on today I stopped at walgreens and picked up an RSVP and 2 Zebra F301 and made RSVP v1 and the Zebra f301 modded pen.
So question 1 is: Is it normal for the modded pens to feel weird? I can only do a thumb around with my G2
Q2: I was missing a piece in the Zebra f301 (The piece that the ink tube comes in)So now I cant write with it but the Q is will me not having that piece make a big diff when it comes to doing tricks? -

First of all: If a pen feels good with good for you then use it
G2s are kind of short and they rattle when they spin. It's fine to use any pen or pencil if your beginning to learn the fundamentals. =)
You are just probably just used to the momentum of the G2, because the Rsvp v1 is back-heavy and therefore may feel weird. An easy way to compesate for this is either put a grip in front or buy another rsvp to make a Rsvp Cx.
Any other questions about the zebra f301 mod, i'm not able to answer because I never have owned the mod.
