Kammy Awards 2009
The Kammy Awards are titles given out to spinners for their achievements during the previous year. Both the titles and winners are chosen by members of The Vault; the winners were chosen by a group of judges from The Vault. These awards were originally created by Phya around 5-6 years ago (~2005, UPSB v.2), and were meant to both give recognition to spinners for their hard work during the past year and to motivate the spinners to work hard the upcoming year to win next year's awards.
The Vault has decided to start giving out these awards again, starting off with giving out the awards for 2009. If you receive an award, you will also be getting a little banner that you can place in your profile or your signature (they are in the process of being made, but you will get them soon). So congratulations to all the spinners who have won the following awards for all your hard work.

In addition to these awards, we'd like to perhaps add more awards for next year..so if you have any suggestions for next year's awards, please post them here. We'd like to keep them positive though; negative awards are only given out when the spinner will most likely not be offended by it. Some awards that we may be adding for next year are Spinner of the Year and Modder of the Year/Best Modder.
I'd also like to give special thanks to SJ and iMatt helping me with the nomination and decision process!! =] Thanks a bunch guys, the Vault couldn't have made this without you guys!

These here be the illest awards this side of the mother fucking Gammys. And yes, it's "-ys" and not "-ies".
Furthermore I have taken the liberty of creating an FAQ for you:- Why are they .png and not .jpeg? Well, it's so that the "K" in Kammy can stand out without having a background behind it. You may not be able to see it when you preview it, but once you host it online and put it in a signature, you'll see what I'm talking about.
- Why do these awards look just so damn good? That's because you hired Xero, one of the sickest mother fuckers on the East Coast. Yes, sicker than you.
- Why didn't JC get a Kammy Award? Because if Xero didn't get one, JC sure as hell isn't.
- Will you go to Xero in the future for awesome photoshopping needs? That depends. Do you want me to procrastinate until way past the deadline, but still create a wonderful product? I think we both know the answer is a resounding yes.

Huh, interesting. Thank you--I suppose. Pretty much agree with the entire list; no idea who zuolin is though.
Descriptions to why the award was awarded would be nice though. Perhaps some pictures for Hottest male + female. Just to make things more interesting.

I don't get the Coolest Oldie and Coolest Foreigner awards. They're good for this year and all, but what's going to happen next year? are you expecting that both of them will change or are you going to try and just 'share around' awards (which I don't agree with anyway) or something? It's best not to change awards too much over the years IMO just for comparisons and the like.

I have just seen that I have received the "Coolest Foreigner Award" from UPSB.
I am truly honored by this award, thank you very much.
Unfortunately, I'm not going to the USA this summer (for the first time in 7 years^^) because I'm going to do some charity service in Cambodia (teaching English, maths and art to 5-12 years old orphans). So, there's no chance I can meet some of you this year (unless some of you live in Cambodia ).
But I'm still very glad to have shared so much with you guys and I'll keep the contact despite my studies, that may take more and more of my time.

if youd like this to become really good, i recomend you guys produce a youtube show for youtube somthing like the grammy awards.
you should have nominee's, then show a bit if each nominee's combo's etc etc etc.
i also personally think this should be international, but id understand if youdl ike to keep this on upsb. -

we'd like to avoid negative awards as much as possible -- we only did 1 this year, only because i think zuolin made such a big name for himself this past year for his spamming (and i don't think he minds getting an award for it)
