Just because people are still PMing me questions about Lucid Dreaming and tutorials, I decided to post a tutorial here.

This is for WILD (the harder form of Lucid Dreaming.) For the easier form of Lucid Dreaming go here ---> http://tinyurl.com/y8omblc

Anyway here is the Tutorial, scroll down for tips on DILDing (the easier Lucid Dreaming Form).

    Spoiler:

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
CGB's TutorialWILD, or wake-induced-lucid-dreaming, occurs when you enter a dream directly from an awake state. In other words, your awake in the real life, then you keep your mind awake but your body falls asleep. WILD is much harder than DILD (above). But with WILDs you can control your dream easier and faster.

    1) Get plenty of sleep in the days before you attempt to WILD. For example if you were going to try and WILD on Weds, get plenty of sleep (7-10+ hrs) on Monday and Tuesday. This isnt required although it is really helpful.

2a) THIS IS THE EASY WAY: Set your alarm to wake you after you have been sleeping for 3-5 hours. (For example, if you went to sleep at 9 PM, you would want your alarm to go off around 2 AM or so. This is necessary for WILDing the easy way. Scroll down to tip 3.

2b) THIS IS THE HARD WAY: You can attempt to WILD right when you go to bed, however it is much easier to try and WILD in the middle of the night. It isn't impossible to WILD right when you go to bed, however it is pretty tough. For more info go to dreamviews.com

    3) Whichever path you chose, whether it be right when you go to bed or in the middle of night (recommended), here is how to attempt a WILD.

3a) When in bed, try to have two pillows below your head, so your head is elevated slightly. This will help fight the urge to swallow while laying down.

3b) Get into a nice comfy position. However if you want to up your chances, try to sleep on your back. Get into a good position and now once you're there, DO NOT MOVE. Besides breathing, every movement that you make will make your body have to start all over again in the WILD process. So again, DO NOT MOVE once in your comfy position.

3c) This is the toughest part of the WILD process. Now you have to wait in this position until your body goes to sleep. This may take about 10 minutes minimum or possibly up to an hour or so. But you can't just lay here letting your mind drift. In order to WILD you must keep your mind awake as your body goes to sleep. Some things I do when in my comfy position are: Count to 100 in my head and once I reach 100 count backwards (rinse and repeat); Count sheep; Invision myself walking up and down stairs repeatedly; or watch the hypnagogic images behind your eyelids. (Hypnagogic images are the blotches of light that you see when you close your eyes. They will sometimes move and change shape.)

3d) You must keep your mind on one event. Whether it be counting or watching the colors, you have to keep your mind focused. If you let your mind start to wander, you will probably fall asleep with your body. Eventually, you will come to a state known as Sleep Paralysis. SP (Sleep Paralysis) occurs when your mind disconnects with your body and starts to dream. Because of this "disconnection" you will be unable to move except to breath and move your eyes. The rapid eye movements (REM) of your eyes is what creates your dreams. Usually people do not even notice SP because they are so focused on that one thing to keep your mind awake. SP is a sure sign that you are on your way to dreaming.

3e) During SP, MANY people start to hallucinate and hear voices and see things, (even with their eyes closed.) These are the 'sounds' of your dreams that your mind is creating. So do not be afraid of these sounds or visual things because they cannot do any physical harm to you. Other things people experience are rapid vibrations, tingly feelings, the feeling of accelerating quickly, or the feeling of floating on water. Some people don't even feel anything at all. During this time, try and keep your mind focused on that 1 thing you have been focusing on the entire time. If you want to give up and get out of SP, stay calm and try and wiggle your toes and fingers. Or if you can, open your eyes. These movements require the body to wake up, and SP will disappear.

3f) When the time comes, you will all of a sudden see either a bright light, a scene in front of you, or see something of the sort. This is your dream. You may become so excited that you entered a dream that your heart rate increases and you wake up. All your hardwork wasted. So try and keep calm. If you do wake up, don't feel discouraged. You can try again right then or just wait until tomorrow.

3g) When in your dream, try to blink your 'dream eyes'. Or try and wiggle your 'dream fingers'. Now you know what it feels like to be in WILD Lucid Dream. Once you WILD enough and are able to control your body, you can move around, or go anywhere you want, pretty much do anything. In order to fly, instead of saying, "Body...fly!" just imagine yourself flying with your dream eyes closed, then when you open them, you probably will be flying. Its not about commanding your body, rather its to imagine yourself doing what you want, and your mind will make it happen. But unlike the MATRIX, if you die in your dream, you are still fine in the real world.

    4) I hope these tips helped. Go to GOOGLE or your search engine and type in WILD Lucid Dreaming for more info. You also should be able to find more helpful tips on dreamviews.com

May we awaken within this dream and grasp the fact that we are dreaming so that all dreamlike beings may likewise awaken from the nightmare of illusory suffering and confusion

    TIPS:

    1. Develop a good Dream Recall Ability. You wont be able to remember that u were even Lucid if you do not practice Dream Recall.
(For more info go here: http://dreamviews.com/dreamrecall.php)

    2. It will be very difficult at first to stay lucid when you finally start your Lucid Dream. This is partially because you will become excited that you finally have acheived your goal. If you dont succeed the first time, keep trying. Dream Control and Lucid Dreaming only occurs if you keep at it.
(For more info go here: http://dreamviews.com/stayinglucid.php)

    3. Reality Checks. Another one of the most important keys in order to get you to Lucid Dream easier. If you peform Reality Checks about every hour or so in the awake world, chances are you will continue to in the dream world. This may cause you to awake suddenly and it will be difficult to stay lucid (#2 Tip).
(For more info go here: http://dreamviews.com/induction.php)

    4. Message me! I have been lucid dreaming for a while and now I enjoy dream control every night and it is really fun and exciting. If you have questions or concerns, you can send me a message on here or add me on Yahoo Messenger / Windows Live Messenger. Ask me for my e-mail if you would like to add me!

    5. This is the best website to start your adventure. This is the original website I went to and they are really helpful! http://dreamviews.com/index.php

I'm not going to lie. First couple of times you do it, HIGH chance that you will freak out. Either by the hallucinations that you may experience or just the whole sleep paralysis stage. However, it gets really nice and relaxing after you do it the first couple of times. For me, it feels like I am floating on water during SP. Other times it feels as though I am floating, and occasionally I will open my eyes and turns out I am actually in an OBE (out of body exp) and I am floating above my body, in a "dream".

u can swallow but it kinda distracts you. but its fine. and same with moving. Moving doesnt make it impossible but it is more difficult the more you move.

You know when you fall asleep you black out? IT's just falling asleep without a lapse of conscious.
    Not too dumb imo.

Sleeping is natural. Sleep paralysis and related events are not. No need to educate me, I've done multiple research papers on sleep paraylsis already.

If you have done research papers, then you know that Sleep Paralysis IS natural. We experience it every night, however our mind isnt conscious to recognize this fact. No need to educate ME, because I too have done research papers for my AP Psych. class.

Alright, I see too much bickering in this thread, and there's already another thread for this (I understand they're slightly different, but you can just add onto the other one; no need for another one).

And since your purpose for this thread was to ctrl + v a link to a tutorial to people who PM you, you can still accomplish that goal by just ctrl + v'ing a link to your profile, since the tutorial's there too.
