Screw what you want, it's what your hand want's that matters.

I was pretty down about my hands... My fingers were short and slightly podgy and my dominate hand's pinky could raise up very far but then I realized something. I can make my spinning look good by using my disadvantages to my advantage. Have short podgy fingers means I could develop I style where my hand is completly still and by adding more pinky tricks, I'll have my uniques style because of my "problem" making my own style.

    First I'll use some examples:

    Podgy fingers:
    Amazing:
    Cloud traveler
    Bonito

    Good:
    Product

Product has a VERY nice style... for slim and feminine looking hands (I personally would love his spinning if he had these hands). Because of this, his combos don't look as good as they could. Cloud Traveler and Bonito both keep their hands VERY still while spinning and this goes well with podgy fingers.

The thing I am trying to get through is appreciate everything you have and use it to your advantage smile.gif. Also don't go following style which you can't pull off. kthxbai

    podgy fingers: taeryong? tonnam? xD

you can also change camera angles, it makes a massive difference to what your spinning looks like.

hm most of the mods i spin are slightly bigger than my hands. (16cm - 17 cm. my hands are 15.6 cm)
Grow your nails to make it look more appealing? but it depends if you have skinny hands though.

Get a big mod and use JEB style?
    Musashi looks awesome like that.

i'm like the opposite, my hands are ultra-skinny

so i mean, i guess it's good for me to move my hands more? I actually like semi-podgy hands kind of like baaron since it makes his spinning look really unique. Of course having skinny hands makes you similiar to most japanese spinnerss i guess.

honestly i've never been too much of a fan of ur hands charlie mainly because of the massive hitch hickers thumb.
The angle does make it a whole lot less noticeable though, which is really nice tongue.gif

It's cool, I get that a lot. All my fingers are like that, sadly.

I can' really hide it either or my fingers start to look like shonen's.

Although I really don't notice much about my hitch hiker's thumb as most people have it anyway.

Imo, shonen's hands complement his spinning style.

Mmm, personal opinion. I don't like how his fingers are never fully extended and in a more relaxed position at all times.

I could try doing the same but it just doesn't sound...right.

my hands are boring, plain jane
i find that my regular angle makes my style/hands look cooler, as opposed to my HD angles which make my hands look like every europeans

My hands are a little odd, 17 cm in size from the base of my palm to my middle finger's tip, yet a 21.5 cm handspan (thumb to pinky outstretched). But i think my hands look just normal white guy hands-ish, though a little bony. Any style common with this, like slender/bony fingers instead of fat ones?

I was really excited when I saw the title as this is something Ive never thought of before but seems to have a lot of merit. If someone knows a hand specialist they may know more but i think while visual factors like pudgy etc, other things like how your tendons are "bunched" affect your style as well and any "habits" or small inflexibilities and flexibilities you have. Also I think trick learning order and mastery is important ins tyle as well. =]

Your fingers remind me of coulomb's. You should work on overall hand motion and pen movement for better aesthetics. Coulomb's style is badass.

I don´t think that cloud traveler has got nice style.
And I don´t want to have oldschool korean MX style.
My idol is NIKoo, Iris etc. japanese new school mx.
But thanks for using me as an example
