Alright so, Ive had a problem standing up straight for YEARS.
    ~7 years or so.

The problem is, i hunch over, in a relaxed position, such as

    as opposed to cocked shoulders.

Plus, i noticed my lower vertebrae is sticking out, like i can feel it.
I took off my shirt to show my parents a giant scratch on my back, and my dad was like "wtf is wrong wtih your back? why is it black?"
The spot where i talked about is like, bruised or something, like its a darker skin tone.
At times, its SUPER sensative, like its a fucking pinch on my nerves and it hurts like a bitch.

    What should i do?
Go to a chiropractor or just deal with it?

Chiropractor can help align your back. Either that or physical therapy i think. Or go to the back specialist who is not a chiropractor. i forget what they're called. i went to one and he said go to physical therapy or chiropractor

I would get it looked at sooner rather then later, and try to correct your posture while in the mean time.

I don't even get why this is a question, you're kinda fucked with a bad back you know.

Yep correct your posture. I have the same problem, just slowly standing up straight and you'll get use to it.

Yeah you'll hate yourself forever if you end up with serious back problems when you're like 20.

among other things, you won't be able to play golf when you get rich xD

More than likely your's is a muscular problem from the sound of it. Go to a chiropractor and get it realigned.

Change posture...takes time, but it can be done. If the problem persists for more than 2 weeks go to the doctor and get some x-rays or an MRI if necessary. It could be possible you have a herniated disk like me. That's a typical symptom of it anyways. If you catch it early you can usually overcome it with physical therapy.

I'm actually recovering from back surgery right now lol. And I am 20 T_T FML.

Get things checked out sooner than later so you don't have to have back surgery when you're 20 years old lol. It f--king blows.

sit on a exercise ball instead of chair. i do that to correct posture as well as strengthen the core. forces you to sit upright.

As creepy as someone sticking needles into your skin sounds, acupuncture is supposed to help with back problems. Its not exactly conventional though, so you may be risking your money on something that doesn't work lol.....

    thanks guis biggrin.gif

Geez, why didn't you tell your parents about it when you were in fifth grade?
I mean, that sounds like some serious shit.

I don't know how you do your doctors appointments, but I get a yearly physical. I just write down any non-immediately threatening problems I'm having and let my doctor know when I get the physical.

I say go see a doctor.

EDIT: One thing he does every time is check to make sure my vertebrae column is straight and doesn't have any unusual pieces.

    dude
I had back problems and then I got acupuncture and it worked.
    I was so amazed.
And the needles don't really hurt that much. They just like place it over your skin and tap it in.
The place a went to strapped like electric wire things to it and it had pulses.
Within a month my back felt fine.

the only problem is lying face down for 30 minutes and the feeling that some guy is going to come in and just shove all those needles into you.
other than that, it fine i guess
