    Interesting but wrong? I'm pretty confident that there are multiple echinoderms "capable" of living forever (Sea stars for sure, but I think there are other echinoderms as well).

    if they are killed again before they get to regenerate, they die

    Im pretty sure its the same way for the jelly fish... they can die of natural causes but you could still kill it.
