Rules

    Right. So atm we are all cool and chillling with our vlogging, and its meant to be very easy going. however i feel like we do need some boundaries to actualyl keep the ball
    rolling.

    Im going to be implementing Rules for us to follow. These rules are mandatory otherwise you will get punished etc.

    1. Vlog cannot be longer than 2 min.

    ~Im feeling that very often everyone is like ..uh...i dunno what to say... So if thats the case one way to help is to make sure the vlog is shorter. Shorter vlogs
    means less to talk about, as well as having being a bit more interseting in that viewers arnt staying there too long watching us especailly if we have "nothing to talk about"
    which of cousre is generally true. because why would viewers want to watch someone who has "nothing to talk about"

    2. Have a goal in the vlog.

    ~By knowing what you want in the vlog whether it be just chilling and talking about the day, or reviewing a short combo, or talking about something you like or you would
    like to do. Make sure you mention this in the beginning of the vlog OR state this in the descriptions. pretty much guys you have a week to think of one thing, which can be
    anything to talk abuot.

    3. Have an intro

    ~by always having an intro it gives unison to the 5AAS. hopefully we can all decide on what music to play, and i really would like this to be an agreed on music.

    4. Complete the challenges and Respond to Questions

    ~Challenges and quetsions NEED to be completed and answered. So yes currently our challengnes have been to

    => Get A famous spinner to vlog.
    => Ask a random how to pen spin.
    => Mimic another famous spinner.

    =? What go you into pen spinning
    =? what do you think of an AusNZ board

    ~and many have been completed but if not, please try to complete them. Challenges could even be trying to get others to do a certain trick (NO overkill tricks >.<)

    ~if you do complete the challenges im planning on giving a free waterfall mod/some awesome prize to the person who completes the most AND does well with teh challenges. and mark + 2 on your score.

    ~if you do not. i will mark -2 on your "score"

    ~answer a question +1

    ~not answer -1

    ~ if you complete a challenge for this not on time, but latter, ill mark off the -1 so essentially you got 0.

    ~scoring system will start next week.

    ============================================================================
    Very Strong Guidlines to Follow:

    G1. interact with the other members of the group

    ~firstly we are group of vlogers, not a vlog about ourselves. we are meant to interact and ask questions and propose challenges and ideas to other members. also feel
    free to comment negatively or positively on other members vlogs in your own vlog.

    G2. Encourage Others to watch 5AAS

    ~Simply tell them, hey i have vlog maybe you should check it out. and if you feel like the vlog isnt good enough for them to watch, then MAKE ur vlog good enough to
    watch.

    G3. Be positive

    ~ i dont mean you have to be overty happy, and im well aware that some days arnt the best in the world and you cant be +ve. but having a positive outlook does encourage others to watch the vlog more attentitively.

    =====================================

    im very open to the critiques. perhaps the score system is a bit much, but i mean its a good way to keep track.

    Why would you score a vlog? and why force the vloggers to do challenges, sure i understand answering questions but isnt a vlog kinda like a diary?? Isnt it telling people more about yourself and letting them know how you are like? and if you give them challenges and questions wont they only have time to do only those if you give them a 2 minute time limit? it would be like quick into, challenge, questions, end. Speaking as a watcher of the vlogs, i would be kinda bored of the hurried-ness of it. =/

    ...Does any of this make sense or does it just seem like I'm rambling btw? lol

    He meant the challenges as a topic to talk about.
    Ive seen some vlogs where they go "i dont know what to talk about because neo hasnt given me/us a topic"
    If we were doing a diary about ourselves then eventually we would run out on what to say and show.
    The 2 minutes time limit is alrite =/ but it would be really rushed as MeiTenshi sed, maybe we can try to get 2minutes - 3minutes. That would be more 'appropriate'

    G2 is wrong. You shouldn't encourage others to view your vlog. They should be forced to view your vlog. Part of being in a vlogging group is knowing what the talk is about and contributing. Shit like "I have nothing to say cause I didn't watch other vlogs so I'm just gonna mumble on about some random shit for two minutes then I spin" shouldn't be accepted.

    agreed, but i think neo means "encourage other, non-ausclan people to watch"
