Off-topic:
The number of pinned threads is actually quite large. But couldn't Skype, MSN, and AIM databases exist under a single thread as an "IM database"? Same with Myspace and Facebook, under "social networking database"? Possibly even steam and gamertag identities in a single thread? It's somewhat cluttered, and sometimes I've had to go to the second page just to check new topics. -

I have a ton of stuff to take care of and study for during the upcoming week. SATs, college applications, and the usual HW and tests. SATs are on November 1st, so I'll probably be gone until then.
I'll be gone for ~1 week, and will most likely not be on AIM, MSN, or UPSB until that week is up. If you happen to catch me on though... it'll probably be because I need to sign on to ask a school friend about hw or something...and then i'll be off again.
So I'll see you guys in a week's time.
Edit: as for the halloween collab...i might try and get something in ... i'll see =\ -

Won't be active on UPSB for a bit, either because of some thread someone made about me in the Spammer's Bin that apparently can't be closed. It caused me to flame the person who started the thread(really sorry about that!), and now I got a warning for excessive use of large text. I know it was sort of my fault.
I also need to take a break from UPSB now, think things over before things end up like they did today.

Errr...i'm sorry, I will feel it's my fault...because I said the Spammer's Bin is not moderated, which as far as I know it's true.
But apparently there's the exception of to flaming threads that I was not aware. According to my sources, if the person doesn't being flamed doesn't want the thread, it is closed by request.
I was not aware of this, and I apologize for my quick judgement. In my defense, I don't often visit the Spammer's Bin, and I was working at the time this all occurred (still am), so I couldn't afford to take the time to check everything.
I hope you will come back because it's honestly worth leaving because of people that has nothing better to do than enjoy giving others a hard time. -

Don't worry Kam, I enjoy pen spinning too much to leave UPSB permanently.

Not me but RYO stated that his act as a penspinner on the Internet including administration of JEB lasts only until the end of this year.
He also said, however, that he could work on some collabs and upload them on youtube or perform in some videos such as Spica someday in the future if he feel like it.
As a cause of his decision, he submitted the presence of the anonymous people who flame him. Although I am not sure, it seems that there are some anonymous spinners outside JEB on the Internet flaming RYO. RYO said that no matter how suitably he behaved those people tend to flame him so unfairly that he eventually become unable to bear it.

japanese famous spinners are treated on the same level as celebrities, like actors or musicians. so you'll have ppl that are like papparazzi which will try to dig up dirt on your personal life as much as possible. this is different from regular internet flaming. -

Ran away from home due to some issues. Chillin at my coaches house. If I get another misdameanor <----- (Shadow I can't spell that word) that would be my second so I would have to spend 3 months in Juvenal Hall so I guess I would have to be away from here for 3 months. If not I would be forced to pay money so I would sell all my pens and never continue to learn. I might just keep one but its not certain Ill find out when I return from spring break and I go to school.

Alright guys, time for my wall of text.
It's been a long time that I've been here, and I think it's time to call it a day. I love a lot of the people here, but yeah, it's time for the man with the name of inotuh to go. I am just, too...tired of seeing most of the same things every day. Sure, sometimes when there are HoT invasions on the shoutbox, and the HoT forums are active...but the entire UPSB is getting, in my opinion, a bit....lame. I am undergoing tons of changes in school and in life. This summer, I might be getting my first job ever. I need to practice a ton of things in order to get this job, and I am eager to get started. Over the past few days, I have been on a mission of self-discovery to see what I enjoyed doing, and what I didn't enjoy doing. Appearantly, there was a MASSIVE list of things I didn't enjoy...and guess what. Being on UPSB was one of them. Being here in this community takes up a ton of my time, and was totally unproductive. I wanted to improve, but for some reason, being on this board doesn't help. Sure, there have been people along the way who have explained what I should do, but just practicing for the sake of practicing, without any reason to practice except to impress others just got boring. I don't want to battle anyone, and am not at competition with anyone.
Now, I'm not going to be like others and say I am leaving because of the spam and flames..(I actually find some quite fun to read) But, after that mission, I don't really like the flame. I am getting more social in real life, so this board's purpose was actually...lets say...fulfilled. I was quite anti-social when I first came here, looking for someone to speak to. Now, in real life, I know how to make friends now. I can talk to people, and think before much quicker. I am improving on the track team, and I am more motivated to do the things I never did before. I am much more vocal than I used to be, so my words are now listened to. My speech is improving as well, so more people understand me. I am not afraid to work with other people, and I no longer care about the stuff people say about me (in evil spirits) I actually feel much happier than I used to. This happiness is something I enjoy having, and with extra time given to me, from leaving UPSB, would make me EVEN MORE HAPPY! With this happiness, I'll go far...
Hm...what else...Yes, I will continue to spin. I'll forever continue to update my youtube channel...but with more variety of stuff. Somehow, I'll manage to stay on HoT...But if it's not possible, then it's not possible . I feel my happiness is much more important to anything material or "team" related. Thanks guys on HoT for having me as a part of the team.
Uhm, wait...there's more. Oh yeah, history. My history on penspinning boards have been one to remember. I remember the days of UCPSB, where podcasts were like OMFGOMGOMGOG, and the penspinning world was totally new to me. I made a TON of new friends, some of which I still have today. UCPSB was the home of many great events, most memorable was the one of the rap battle of Eso vs. (insert name here) Even though it was just text, it made me roll on the floor. I loved those days. I also remember the day when UPSB was first introduce....www.zomboisgod.tk Just the entering of that uniform resource link made my toes tingle. A whole new board, a whole new area of penspinning unexplored. I am quite happy I found these two boards, for they have changed my entire world view, and perspective of life and of little things, such as pen spinning.
But yeah. That's it. I will never quit spinning. Sonic has to go though...grew out of him xD. UPSB also has to go. I don't find myself to have purpose here, meaning I have done something that makes me feel that I have completed my purpose. So...I bid thee, all of UPSB...Farewell And Thanks

You are correct in pointing out that there is not real "purpose" of pen spinning, but it's just a hobby.

well upsb. it's been awesome, but college is starting next year for me, and i'm also getting interested in cwalking, waving, bboying, and magic the gathering so pen spinning has taken second or third priority ever since january. i don't think i'll ever stop spinning but i'll probably never get better. i won't be gone though. i might come in here and yell something in the shoutbox sporadically. it's been real.

Hey everyone, Chobi here.
As the title says, i quit.
Well, as more and more things start filling up my life, PSing doesn't really fit in anymore.
Longboarding's taking up huge amount of my time, and after just starting out as a freshie in High School last year, i started drifting away from pen spinning almost entirely. And now i'm incoming as a sophomore, i realized that i really have no time to spin pens anymore, so i decided to quit.
Actually, i quit a few months back, but i was too lazy to make a thread, and you know the story.
I won't quit the board though, i'll be checking in often just to check on you guys, and to help people who need it.
Yanos and i will be making a farewell tag in the coming months, so watch out for it.
It's been a wild ride, guys, thanks for everything.

Well my spinning time comes to an end.
I will really miss pen spinning and all the people I have met here in this wonderful forum. All I have to say is that it was fun while it lasted. Ive spun for like 1 year and 4 months and now its time to rest my hands. Ill be going back to the forum time to time dont worry. Ill enjoy skateboarding since thats what I do now. To Chobi I will longboard after I get to do alot of good tricks in skateboarding. I will miss you UPSB. -

Yes, my time in UPSB hinders my improving in PSing...in time my situation will somewhat become like RYO if I don't improve
Though there are times that PSing begins to slip away from my life, I still strive to be able to improve myself in little ways
I may not seem to be a very valuable member here in UPSB as it seems, but I would like to thank in advance all the people I have met here. I would not like to mention names because if I do, one post will not be enough. I have encountered a lot of people (mostly online) that have helped me in improving my PSing. Hopefully, when I go back here (if I ever improve that much), most of you guys will be still here and also (hopefully) I won't be still left behind when I go back.
I may still check threads (SOYP,etc) from time to time, but I doubt I will talk that much anymore.
As you are reading this post, know that I have already closed the window to the Shoutbox (gonna miss some epic convos in the future), so if you guys ever want to contact me, PM me.
Also, I might stop filming for a while for improvement purposes. Most likely I will be watching youtube vids on collabs and tuts.
