I couldnt find a thread about drawing but yeah.... I wanna start getting into drawing stuff. I just don't know how to start it or get better at it D: I've only been able to draw a little bit but it was always the same picture over and over (which i posted). I want to be able to just draw anything that comes to mind like a hydralisk biggrin.gif
Tips or advice welcome biggrin.gif And yes, i suck at drawing biggrin.gif

I learnt how to draw like Jim Lee (comic book artist) by copying his artwork and studying all the comics he drew in to great depth. I was watching a video of him and he said that one thing you can do to draw well is take note of the world more. Say you were at the dentist, observe how things look like, the colours, the position of the tools, the lighting and shadows, the details of the corners of the place you don't focus on etc... That really helped me in my artwork. Sadly that was a long time ago I probably can't pull it off anymore 'cause I haven't drawn fo very long now.

i can usually only draw anime heads and occasionally below their heads... but only in simple standing position... XD

i love doing the shading and shadowing though^^

draw real people, dont use guidelines, just draw what you see. thats how i learned to draw..i never drew stick people until gr. 5 when flippy page stick people became cool lol like killing each other, etc.

some of my drawings, no guidelines/grids, i just drew the shape of the face, then drew the rest as it is
