    Dear people of UPSB,

    I have gotten bestowed upon me the task to digitalize all old cassettes from my dads old and broken camera. Now there's some nice stuff in there like weddings and birthdays and me and my bro as happy babies but somewhere in that pile ... deep down in there, in the pile of cassettes that do not have any name written on them is the birth of me.

    Now, the miracle of life, the birth of a human being may be a wonderful event, but it's disgusting as fuck and I don't want to see it especially not if it's my head that is pressing out of my moms no-no-parts.

    So I pray to you people of UPSB, give me strength in these horrible times where I lack the knowledge of what these cassettes bear.

    Kind of no, kind of yes.

    It works like this, the camcorder basically plays the cassette and the computer films what the camcorder plays. Everytime there is a cut the current file is completed and I have to start recording again and this takes 2 mouse-clicks. So if there is any cut during the birth or any other disgusting part of birth I am fucked.

    Because it's nice to have a reminder for yourself when you're old and your kids are out of the house and you think about your life and you can look at videos of them as babies and you can watch your wedding of you and your beloved wife.

    I agree they're not great for showing others unless it's immediate close family (which usually is present at events worth filming) but for personal use I see nothing from with home videos. I for sure would film my kids.
