I know what Moonwalk Sonic is but i epic suck at it

when is the ideal time to "interrupt" the charge motion and perform the sonic?

A little after 1/2 a Charge motion. You'll want the pen to be at the tips of the fingers so that it will be easier to keep the middle finger out of the way if you are doing a Moonwalk Sonic 12-23.

As the pen starts to spin upward, the middle finger is bent in and the index and ring fingers are brought together.

It's easier to learn by holding the pen at the end, instead of the middle, with most of the pen on the inside of the hand.

I don't think moonwalk has that much visual appeal either, it's hard to tell the difference if your a non pen spinner.

I just want to learn it so i can do some hybrids and learn to "link" charge motions more effectively

    thanks sketching thumb.gif

I would definetely try another linking trick like Double Charge because this one I can do but really does not look all that cool.

Well, as long as you get your sonic clips down, it's not all that hard to learn. It wasn't for me anyway... And a trick that doesn't look cool but is hard to learn is a sonic clip 14. It's kinda ugly imo.

I'd say the ideal time to bend 2 (if doing 12-23) is when the pen is at its highest point and is just starting to move downwards again. And sketching, no offence but the Moonwalk Sonics in the Wiki article aren't so neatly executed ssst.gif I'll update with a new video of how I do the Moonwalk Sonic later~

Moonwalk sonics are more use full when spinning fast, there is no "rev up" for a moonwalk sonic like there is for sonic reverse.

yo wait man, there is the warped sonics... I use the moonwalks not beacause it is the only thing, beacause it gives cool hybrids.
