I remembered watching something like this on Mysterious Diagnosis and some other show in Bio class sophomore year. It could be parasites (ie. brain worms http://media2.foxnews.com/112008/worm_tumor_700.wmv). Have you eaten any unwash lettuce, or unusual foods you don't normally eat on a daily basis? When did you first notice getting the headache?

I had that half a year ago, i believe. I was given some medicine to get rid of it. Not in the head though, intestinal track.
We're sure where that leads to.
Umm, I havent had any lettuce lately, besides yesterday from MickeyD's. Big n Tasty.
I had a beer and a couple shots of Cognac last saturday, so I dunno if that counts as unusual
I got the headache during noonish on monday, then progressed to a level where i couldnt go to school on Tuesday. -

So you had some kind of tape worm parasite infestation like this before? My guess is maybe not all of the infestation is gone and your loss of appetite is because of the worms. I'm no doctor, rather I'm just stating my opinion on this matter. Just wait for the x-rays to develop and maybe a prostate exam will be needed.

Honestly it's dumb to expect any serious professional or helpful comments from any of us. If you have a medical issue, seek help in the medical field (doctors and such).
But if I were you, I wouldn't take any advice or put any weight in comments on a board full of mainly 13 year olds. (well, except for mine telling you not to do it xD)

This could, as your doctor said, be meningitis. Do you feel any stiffness or rigidity in your neck? That along with fever and severe headache is a common symptom of meningitis. The same goes for a brain infection.
I think, it seems far less likely to be a parasite, as fever and sudden severe headaches is not a common combination of symptoms for a parasitic disease, unless the parasite has caused a brain infection or meningitis.
I think that if your doctor suspected that you might have meningitis, he/she should have told you to keep away from other people, as some types of meningitis are contagious and potentially deadly. In any event, I think you should stay home from school, and try to keep to yourself until you get your results back from the doctor.
I am not gonna lie to you, meningitis is a pretty serious disease, about two percent of patients who get treatment dies of it anyways, and it can cause permanent damage to one's hearing and cognitive abilities.
I really do hope for you that I am wrong, and you don't have meningitis. -

honestly, i think uedan's advice pretty good for now. ask your doctors about medical pot. hopefully itll relieve the pain until they figure out what is wrong and treat it.
