well my combos are rather bland and i've been thinking on ways i could make them more interesting to the eye. not finishers. nor power tricks. just things you can put it in to make it more interesting, and still be good for linkage purposes.
so far i've thought of 2
tipped sonic t1-12-23-34 > tax2
fl rev ts t1-12 > midbak 12-34 [this one is hard for me but i can do it]
any1 else?
im also trying to master pass 23-t3 > rev ta t3-23, and between other slots, and in reverse -

tw sonic rev 23-34 > pass normal 34-23 is flashy
a lot of charge/pass combos can look really good just by adding emphasis with hand movements
also, vary amounts of palm up/down -

If you're a beginner...this is what I recommend...
-Just learn new tricks-- you'll need the variety for later on, and even being able to incorporate variety into your combos that might look kinda spammy now is good
-Arounds, Backarounds, Shadows, Wipers, Aerials, and a few spin tricks (thumbspin 1.5, palmspin 1.0?) are good places to start
That's to spice up...I guess, "noob combos"
-Smoothen out what you know--Since I'm here already, I'll talk about the next step you should take after you learn a lot of new tricks. Try just putting them together in whatever way feels good to you (while trying to use a bunch of the tricks you know, not just the easy ones)...and practice, practice, practice until you can do it smoothly
-Add new linkages -- And then this is more advanced, but you'll want to come up with new, creative linkages using the tricks you know (i'm sure you'd be learning more along the way as well to add to your repertoire of tricks). Many times, the most common linkages used are those that are easiest, or those that can be seen done the most often by other spinners. Trying making your own appealing linkages..and you're on your way to being a great spinner =]
Each of those 3 steps takes quite a while though but keep at it! There might've been more steps I meant to add since this thing is knida on the spot..=P
