Alright so I'm going to get straight to it.
I'm available for upgrade and my mom said I'm allowed to get a new phone if I want since my birthday is coming up soon.
So I'm going to do a Pro and Con on the two phones I'm considering to get.
    I have T-Mobile.

Phone Number One: Google Nexus One
    Price: $179.99

    Pros:
-Running latest version of Android (Google's OS for Mobile Devices)
    -Capacitive touch-screen with Multi-Touch enabled
-Accelerometer (I like texting in landscape mode)
-Decent camera with flash (5 Megapixels)
    -Apps (Android Market)
    -Slim and pocketable
    -Wi-Fi enabled
    -3G Enabled
    -GPS
    -1GHz SnapDragon CPU

    Cons:
-Only 512 MB of onboard Flash memory
-Memory must be expanded by MicroSD cards. I would much rather like it if it just had more onboard, I don't want to buy anything extra unless it's necessary.
-The display in daylight is horrible
-The four "buttons" at the bottom are sometimes unresponsive
-Trackball is pretty much useless (no app requires you to use it)
-Only way to buy it is online. This is a major con because if I can only buy it online and something happens to it, I can't go to my local T-Mobile store and ask them for assistance because they don't sell the phone themselves.

    Phone Number Two: HTC HD2
    Price: $199.99

    Pros:
    -Large screen (4.3 inches)
    -Capacitive touch screen, multi-touch enabled
    -Accelerometer
-Decent Camera (Same as Nexus one except with 2X LED FLash)
    -Apps (Windows Marketplace)
-Slim, a little bit wider and taller than the iPhone, but it can still fit in my pocket.
    -Wi-Fi enabled
    -3G enabled
    -1GHz SnapDragon CPU
    -Running HTC's Sense UI

    Cons:
-One of HTC's best phones... not running Android. What. The. Fuck. Seriously? Instead of Android, it's running Windows Mobile 6.5, and it's not even going to be upgradeable to WinMo 7. Major con for me here because I think Sense UI would go a lot better with Android, and because WinMo 6.5 is going to be replaced very soon.
-1GB onboard Flash memory. Still an improvement from 512 MB, but I would rather see more on there. Again, I don't want to buy extra unless needed.
-There are some freezing issues that have to be worked out.

In the end, they're both really great phones, nearly identical (when it comes to hardware) except one is running Android and the other, WinMo 6.5. I'm having a really hard time choosing between the two and I would like it if you guys were to help me out on choosing my next phone.
Don't forget to vote, and make sure you provide an explanation as to why I should get the phone you voted for.
    Thanks! happy.gif

Same thing for me, I'm on a family plan.
But since my contract ended, my mom can take me off and out me on my own plan, so that I can get the phone.
But I don't know if I get my plan, then order it, or I order and change my plan online.
    So confusing.

    Android > WinMo

WinMo just never appealed to me, it has a lot of functions and capabilities but it just feels horrible to use although Sense UI is alright. I love Android with its simplicity and its potential. If you're gonna be tied down to 6.5 you shouldn't even be considering it.

The trackball is actually pretty useful when surfing the net and stuff. I thought it was ugly and retarded at first but I find my self using it a lot these days. I have a G2 (HTC magic/sapphire/mythouch 3g). MicroSD isn't that bad either, I bought a 8gb for 20 bucks a couple months ago, class 4 I think. Shouldn't the Nexus One come with a 2gb anyways? They're also good for modding and such.

So yeah, get the Nexus one. Android market is better too, open-source is always good.

I think I've made my decision on getting the Nexus One, but if for whatever reason this doesn't work out, I'm going to have to go with the HD2.
Or I can wait a couple more months, but my current phone is starting to piss me off.

if nigahiga wants us to buy his "nekasis 1" then we should buy it, out of both, i would buy... a DROID!

youtube has youtube partners advertiseing their nexus 1, and they are pretty good at it, it has convinced me to get a nexus 1 if i had the chance.
