How to protect tips?

If you've dropped a mod with exposed tips many times you'd realise that the tips starts to have a to get a to of scratches. This really burns a hole through my heart especially when it happens to expensive tips like dr. grips or F-701's. Is there any way to protect the tips from getting damaged when the pen drops? Also is there a means to protect us from the harmful pen tips like a dr. kt??

Well, you could protect them with longer grips.. or invert the tips

As for the Dr. Grip tips, I guess you have to file the sharp part, or again, invert the whole tip

If you really really care about your tips try invisable sheild it will definently protect them. This stuff is meant to protect cell phones and is incredably strong. ALthough it is very expensive and is probably not worth it. Also there are some glazes or sprays that are used for art projects that would probably portect them

Pic of invisible shield over pen to show strength and it shows what it may look like on a tip.

that protects against scratches, but it's not worth it, as it will look fugly and the tip will still cave in.

if you drop dr grip tips too much, they cave in and you can't write with them.

I'm really talking about things I can do to protect the tips not places I can spin so the tips won't get damaged. I can't invert some of my mod's tips 'cause of the shape of the tips and the barrel.

when your spinning in risky areas, use mods that don't have their tips exposed like comssa or bictory.
