    i just played a couple matches of reach and its pretty fuckin awsome. i havnt been really pissed off with anything yet. anyone play it? opinions?

    ya took me a longass time to download. like 2 hours or so. its fun as hell though. AR doesnt totally suck anymore =D. and DMR takes quite some skill to use

    I like it so far. I thought there was going to be a Campaign mission to play but i guess not (unless i missed it). I like how the game feels like Halo CE, which it should. Just with new and more guns. tongue.gif

    ya what vic said. i really like how it feels like CE. sword base reminds me of one of the maps from CE, forget the name though. this game was the main reason i got a 360 =]

    I downloaded it. It only took me about an hour my friends were so jellin' when I was playing my first game while they were stuck at 40 %

    I really like the game even though I suck (any tips? I know I ususally only go for body shots. would it make a big difference if I started going for the head more?) I usually get a .6-ish K/D, but hey cut me some slack; my first FPS was MW2 so i should a noob.

    grenades are overpowered IMO

    also a little weapon-heavy, meaning if you're decent and get one of the power weapons you'll get at least a few kills before dying. I played one game (my roommate just DL'd it), went like 2-6 when i had just the spawning weapons, and like 9-2 when i picked up a weapon.

    i wish they made it a little less weapon-hogging and a little more just tactical use of the weapons

    Halos always been like that though idk if you have a sniper, sword, shotty, or Spartan Laser you can pretty much get a few kills if you can use them the right way. even a rocket launcher can wreck face for a bit if you can get enough ammo. I understand though thats why I like team BR's way better because br's are soo much more powerful than a Assault and they have range which I like. I'm really looking forward to the new armor things though that personal bubbleshield type effect looks fucking badass and finally active camo for those assassins out there.

    DMR is ok I'll use anything but the AR I don't wanna be one of those AR spraying faggots dry.gif
    stupid servers reset my rank and score though sad.gif
    although the spawn system seems way too easy to trap.
    Like swordbase you can have people blocking all the exits from where the sword spawns and just force them to spawn there over and over and over again. biggrin.gif

    does any one know if you have a halo odst disk, and you loan it to a friend and they use the beta trial for halo reach
    can you take the disk back and use the same disk to play it on your xbox?
    I hope this makes sense o_O

    the disk has to be in the xbox to play

    so you can lend it and they can DL it, but can't play if they give it back

    but my friend said they give you like a beta code or something
    so for every disk you get a code, and once you use that code, you cant use the disk to download another trial (so one disk can only get you one trial for one xbox)

    is this true? sorry if its confusing

    no it's not true, when you put the disk in it says "Download Reach" and you can do it a billion times if you want, but you can only PLAY reach if the disk is in the xbox

    just like any other game you install on the harddrive, i can install halo 2 on my drive, but i can only PLAY it if it's in the xbox
