4th NYC Gathering
It's almost summer time again, so that means it's time to plan for the 4th NYC Gathering. For the 3rd NYC Gathering, only Huroni, Xero, Scissors Sir, and myself showed up for it... I waited for a bunch of you that said you guys would show up, but never did. So do me a favor, and not let this next gathering be a disappointment... especially since iamk34n3 (Keane) is visiting NYC this summer!!
There probably isn't going to be much flexibility around when it is since his parents have their trip planned already I think, so I apologize to those who can't make it because of that reason. But even if school isn't over for you guys, I'm going to still aim to make it on the weekend so you can still make it.
Date: Saturday, June 12th or Sunday, June 13th
Time: Meet up ~12:00 PM (the usual)
Location: Most likely the usual as well, Kino + Food + Random place to hang out, but I'll see what else we can do later But we'll most likely meet up at Borders outside of Penn Station first regardless of the plans later on though

For people who haven't been to any nyc gathering before, this is how it's going to work. Since most people arrive by train at Penn Station, we usually meet up at the Borders Bookstore right outside Penn Station/Madison Square Garden. Here is a map for those who don't know where it is; Borders Bookstore is boxed in red.
I'm also putting a street view up so that you'll know what to look for once you get there.

As for the actual gathering, I think I'm going to aim for having it on June 13th, a Sunday. Not entirely sure about the weather for that day yet, but I'm hoping it's warm and sunny! Sooo let's try to have parts of it at Bryant Park this summer.
I know we usually have Kino first, and then eat... but let's switch it up this time. So let's do this...- 12:00 PM -- Meet up at Borders
- 12:30-1:30/2:00 PM -- Go eat at McDonalds (or somewhere else if you guys are willing to pay, I'll look up the restaurants in the area later and we can choose the day of if we want to)
- 2:00-2:30 PM -- Stop by Kinokuniya and Staples if anyone wants to go
- 2:45- ~5:00/5:30 PM -- Find an empty spot/table at Bryant Park, and just chill
- 6:00 PM -- Split up and go home/grab dinner if anyone's in the mood (I'll look into restaurants for dinner just in case)
Let's focus on just talking/getting to know the new gathering people during lunch. We can break out all the mods at Bryant Park.. and then we can focus on making lots of clips and stuff there too. Maybe play some games or something too :] I dunno, I just started coming up with some ideas, but hopefully in 2 weeks, we'll have a lot. I'd appreciate it if someone wants to brainstorm with me one day =P but either way, we'll have a fun time!! -

Okayyy... so apparently Keane's mom signed up for an extension for their tour so he can't make it the 12th. Soo, I'm gonna need to move it to the 13th.. yes, i know, last minute change.. but hopefully everyone can make it one day later?
