HKPSA version, it has the photos
Hi, everybody...
I don't know if anyone has posted this mod before, but I haven't seen it. So here it is:
{first, some background information}
I have come across making this mod by accidently putting a un-clipped HGG cap into a un-clipped G-3 cap...after many futile attempts to taking the HGG cap out, I have finally decided to use it to mod a pen.
weight: a little lighter than the RSVP mx, but not much
length: the same as the RSVP mx
Tutorial:
Parts needed:
2 x HGG's (one entire, and an extra tip and grip)
1 x G-3 (for this mod, you will only need the cap)
1 - take the inktube out of the HGG.
2 - un-clip the HGG clip (heat up a cutter and melt through the clip) file it down if neccessary.
3 - un-clip the G-3 cap (take the clip bit out, use pliers to take out the bit left, and file down).
4 - put the HGG cap inside the G-3 cap, push it in all the way.
5 - cut 1.5 cm out of the extra HGG grip (if you cut out the "back" of the grip, which would be the side with the ring, it would look nicer, but this is not essential)
6 - put the extra HGG tip onto the pen. (use a bit of blu-tack or something similar to help secure the tip)
7 - put the 1.5 cm HGG grip over the first tip, the second tip should show a bit
8 - put the cap "package" onto the back of the HGG.
**optional**
-put grips on the G-3 cap.
-peel the sticker off the HGG cap before putting it in G-3 cap.
-add an insert

Yep, just a variant, but this uses more parts, and this is backheavy.
anyway, a lot better than my first mod.
