So my iPod headphones ripped, their still usable, but I heard the sound from it sucks and other ones were better. Their both $10 at local store. Which one should I get? Anyone used both before? Which one has better sound? Also which color should I get? Thanks!

    JVC Gumy

    Or

    SonySony MDR-E10LP

    Or

Stock iPod Headphones ( around a year old, and quite dirty. tiny rip on the grey soft plastic of left headphone )

I would invest the necessary 20$< in a nice pair of JVC Marshmallow headphones

Best for the price imo, or skull candies lower tier of in ear ear buds, if you're looking for over the head gget the low tier sennhieser's.
Have owned gummies, get dirty, wire gets weird, strange colors, not great quality, very little bass, breaks easy
    Never had those sony's before
I would keep using those ipod ones till they break though. or keep them for storage / back up if you lose or break another pair.

If you're willing to invest a bit of money, don't get Bose. =]

JVC Gumy's have crappy sound quality...and break easily.

Get the JVC Marshmallows. They look like they might be the same quality...but they're like $3 more and have REALLY good sound quality, and they're in-ear.

Thanks for the replies guys. Looks like the 10 dollar really suck. Should I get the $25 skullcnady ink d or the marshmallow? I read the gumy and Sony reviews and they seemed fine. Guess I was wrong

i hear good things about the marshmallows...
or you could invest and get some quality earphones that are like $50-200

the marshmallows are good for the price, but i would consider skullcandy just for the lifetime warranty. they all break within 1-2 years

    buy an IEM (in-ear monitor).

they seal your ears so you don't have to put the volume high. the earbuds lose too much sound.

you can buy fairly cheap IEMs that are OK like Creative EP-630 for $20

    http://www.meelec.com/M9_Series_earphones_s/244.htm

this is prety good and I believe its 51% off until 24th. so around $15 i guess.

I have some of those JVC marshmallows. It,s ok but not very comfortable imo because of the material used. I also have some MEE M6 and EP-630, I find the MEE M6 the best of the 3.

what about these? I can get them for $19 at visions

    skullcandy ink d

the marshmallows are $20 compared to this, and don't seem as high quality.

And couldn't find Creative EP-63 anywhere I live. Sorry Zombo

Again, thanks for all the replies =] Without them I would of gotten the shitty Gumys or Sony

P.S. What colour should I get

    skullcandy is not too good

they overprice their products because of the "hip" style, so you're paying for the appearance, not the quality.

another cheap good one is sennheiser CX300, its the same thing as EP-630 basically

Right skullcandy, the lower tiers are okay for their price however marshmallows are good imo much better sound quality, they feel like they may be a bit cheap but mine haven't broken yet so eh... xD

not including online. I have a pet peeve for online buying. Also, you haven't factored in the shipping.

I got the skullcandies ink d for $20, they were pretty decent. Thanks for the replies everybody =]

    That's just plain stupid.
Everything is cheaper online. And the shipping isn't $15 so they're still cheaper than skullcandies.

EDIT: The store that's selling them for 5.99 has free shipping.
