    HI everyone!

Lately i was looking for a good looking, writing Mod with clear barrel.
Since i didnt find one that fit my needs i got myself at the workbench again and did one, this is the result.
    What does the Mod have?
-Great writing mechanism, no rattle, wont break.
-(Imo) a nice look, since i got asked about a tut im not the only one who thinks this:D
-Customizability! I only show how to do it, not how it has to look. PLus, length and weight can be adjusted in order to get killer momentum.
-G3 Body wich isnt special but simply the best:)

What does the Mod NOT have?
-The light, the one i use, version doesnt have killer momentum. Thats simply because the inktube and mechanism together is heavy and i dont want a heavy pen in the end.
Even with metal tips the body is still heavier then it would be without inktube==> Less momentum then it would have without inktube.
-Grips in the front. If u cant do wiper with it well go practise, it really aint no problemXD
    -A fancy japanese creator.

For those who still want to do the mod after reading this, ill give some pictures and explanation wichw ill suffice, but i wont give cm/inch values for all the stuff,
there are some cuts of plastik and inktube in it wich will require some skill. Whoever can cut the hyperjell cap will ne able to adjust the writing mechanism according to his liking:)
I will, of course, add the insert , its not totally finished yet (ill have to redo it completely).
Feel free to use ur own inserts though, its your pen not mine and probably u want a nice colored insert or some youth friendly "nude" woman on it.

    Stats
    -------------------------------------------------
Name: His name is Glenn Matthews, seriously, thats what he told me his name was:)
    COG: COP
    Length:20-20,5cm
Weight:~15g with writing mechanism, less without and 3g more with metal tips and writing mechanism.
    Style: G3 SC Mod
    Writing-Mechanism: Yes, twistable Cap.
    Ink-Type: Rsvp Ink
Estimated-Cost: ~10usd, less ich some of the parts are spare parts.
    -------------------------------------------------
    Materials List:

    -2xHyperjell [ Cap ]
    -1xGripmatic [ Rubber Mechanism, Grip ]
    -1xG3 [ Body ]
-2x Plastic Tip || 2x(same!) Metal Tip ==> Results in a heavier Mod with lots of momentum.
    -3xAirfit [ Chrome Ring ]
    -1xHGG [ Tip ]
    -Tape
    -Hot Glue
    -1Pilot G2 [ inktube ]
    -1xCommsa Backcap or something alike
-2Ring of Grip, take wichever u got, anyball is fine, g2 is fine, if u cut straight any grip is fine.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Spoiler:

    Step1
-File down bumps of the G3 Barrel
-Get a 0,5cm wide piece of a)Grip b)white Body c)a cap. It doesnt matter wich option u choose, u have to like the look and u have to get the material, grip is the easiest to get Option i think.
-Put the "piece" on the G3 front and wrap tape in front ot the "piece" as long as it evens out with the "piece".
-It should look like this now:

    Step2
-Wash out the G2 inktube, cut a piece out of it (the exact length doesnt matter), wrap some grip on the front.
-Slide the G2 inktube in the G3 front.

    Step3
Screw a plastic (or metal if u have chosen this option) on the tape on the G2 inktube.

    Step4
Cut a ring of grip and one hyperjell cap.
    -Put on the front:
    1)Chrome Ring
2)Ring of grip =>slide the chrome ring over the ring of grip. Place this directly after the "piece".
    3)the cut hyperjell cap
4)a ring of grip =>slide this between hyperjell cap and tip
5)Another chrome ring, this one gets directly on the hyperjell cap==>use hot glue//superglue. I use hot glue.

    Step5
Now that u know how to assemble the front, do it again but with the front insert under the cut hyperjell cap:)
I cant give much advise on this, simply try with a plain white paper its not hard to do.
    U finished the front.

    Step6
-Wrap some tape around the hgg tip.
-Put hgg tip inside the gripmatic grip and wrap the back insert around that. If u use metal tips u have to add one too. In this case put the hgg tip inside the metal tip.
-Insert the gripmatic grip+insert+hggtip(+metal tip) in the cap.
-(hot)glue the chrome ring on the hyperjell cap. U have to do this after inserting the other stuff!

    The cap is finished.

    Step7
-File down any bumps on the comssa backcap. It has to fit (the front part, not the back part) inside the g3 barrel with insert.
How much u have to file down depends on how thick ur papers is and if u use clear tape on the ends of the insert like i do.
Finally, it should fit firm but can be twisted around.
-Cut of a bit (pretty much everything without ink at a fully rsvp inktube...wich isnt pretty muchXD) of the rsvp inktube.
-Glue the inktube in the "screw" of the gripmatic mechanism.
-Glue some (emptied!) piece of inktube in the comssa backcap. As u probably see i use some special backcap, its from some smaller commsa fakes.
-Glue the other side of the piece of inktube on in the "screw"

Now u stick the comssa backcap in the grimpatic grip inside the hyperjell cap, if it doesnt fit file down more if its too loose add some tape/hot glue.
It shouldnt move anymore but dont push too hard or ull crush the insert...

    Step8
-Put the main insert in the g3 barrel
-File down the gripmatic mechanisms main part a bit, again this depends on how thick ur paper is.
Since the g3 body is a bit of a cone it will stick in there as u push it in (use some g2 inktube or a small pencil i.e.).
If its getting too far inside u will have to a)use another gripmatic mechanism and file down less b)use thick paper c)add some hot glue/tape d)adjust the inktube.
I wont recommend option "d" since ull need some smaller inktube (take the one of the airfit biggrin.gif) and a longer piece of empty inktube on the other side of the screw.
    I know u get what i mean:D
    http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/7564/step8q.png

    Final Step
Insert the inktube in the g3 body, as soon as the "screw" and "main part" of the gripmatic mechanism meet simply screw them together.
U have quiet some space to adjust the whole thing, if it doesnt work adjust the empty inktube part of the mechanism to get the cap further or less on the g3 body.

Finally u probalby have to adjust the weight a bit, the mod uses tape and different types of take got differen weight...u can add some tape in the front and u can add tape/tip/whatever u like to in the back.
    Have Fun:)

With a nice cam, nice light, a nice angle and a bit of photoshop it will look like the picture on the beginning, its 100percent the same pen.

Here i will add the insert, but unfortunately ill have to redo it completely since i lost the images on a system crash, this will take some time but i promise i will add it, this time neatless and even better then the old one:D

Reminds me of a NeoTwist G3S

I like the mod, But I don't like the cut hyperjell cap at the front, I think it looks ugly :/

mod looks pretty good (better than mine dry.gif ) but i think "plastic tip" and "part of a white cap" are a little vague, might want to specify on those.
