Generally when a laptop hangs on that screen it means it's probably getting stuck on authentication or stalling on a particular program.

If you can pull up tasker manager and go to File > Run > Type: explorer.exe

That'll bring up the desktop bar and what not to try and back up your files

1.) Try unplugging your ethernet cable from you laptop if you have one, Then try booting up (that'll tell me if it's stalling on In-system or a DNS releated item.

    Then Try th this.

    1. Login as one of your administrator accounts in safe mode.
    2. Start Windows Explorer.
    3. Right click on your "C:" drive and select "Properties".
    4. Click the "Security" tab and then click the "Advanced" button.
    5. On the "Permissions" tab that comes up, add a check mark next to the box labeled, "Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects".

If you need to try and retrieve some files, try this first:

If you can pull up tasker manager and go to File > Run > Type: explorer.exe

That'll bring up the desktop bar and what not to try and back up your files

Let me know how it goes.
