Yup... my computer apparently cannot run .bat files. When I double click on them, I get the error message "Windows cannot find '[file path].bat'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
Does anyone have any idea? -

Sounds like you have a virus.
The most common type that would cause these symptoms is called HIV better known as AIDS.
Use a condom next time, there really isn't much you can do now. -

If I click on the files from explorer, then it displays the error.
If I run through command prompt, then it works.
Does that help at all?
I'm running W7 Home Premium x64... -

You have to change the compatibility settings on the .bat file. Some .bat instructions are use specific code native to Windows XP.
Try right clicking it, go to properties > Compatibility tab > Change compatibility to Run As: Windows XP

Um... it appears that I can't run .cmd files either.
Could something be wrong with my cmd? -

Apparently, I have no cmd.exe in my System32 folder...
Does anyone know how I can recover cmd.exe? I think it would fix my problems >.<
