One of my earliest mods was the G2-CTE. I made it back in 2008. Now, over 2 years later, I recreated it with using my 2 years of modding knowledge; a G2-CTE Evolved:
~
[Stats]:
Length: 20cm-21cm
Weight: RYO Cheat Comssa < G2-CTE Evolved - Dr. KT
Balance: COG=COP
Inktype: IRT
Modtype: SC-Retractable
Difficulty: Medium-Hard
~
[Materials]:
[1x]: ( a ) Zebra Hyperjell cap
[1x]: ( b ) Uniball IRT tip, inktube and spring
[1x]: ( c ) Pilot Dr Grip grip and shaker piece
[1x]: ( d ) Pilot G2 large body piece, small body piece, inktube and clicker pieces
[1x]: ( e ) MM/CT/AC/KT body
[1x]: ( f ) Beifa grip
[1x]: ( g ) Papermate Profile grip
~
[Tools]:
Wire Snips
File/sandpaper
Celophane tape
Superglue (optional)
X-Acto knife
~
[Tutorial]:
1. Gather materials:
2. Dismantle materials and gather what is shown below:
3. Cut the Dr. Grip grip, Profile grip and Beifa grip like shown below:
4. Cut/sand the front of the G2 small body piece like shown below:
5. Sand the cut G2 small body piece like shown below, then screw on the IRT tip:
6. Use tape to secure one end of an insert to the sanded G2 small body piece then wrap around and apply cut Dr. Grip on top of the insert (there is no need to secure the insert beyond the single piece of tape):
7. Push the completed G2 small body piece into the back of the MM/CT/AC/KT body until it meets the base of the cut Dr. Grip grip. Then apply the 2-ringed section of the cut Profile grip behind and the cut Beifa grip on the IRT tip (apply dabs of superglue if you would like to have a secure fit) like shown below:
8. Cut off the knub from the front of the MM/CT/AC/KT body and then sand open the hole until it is wide enough for a G2 inktube to slide freely inside like shown below:
9. Dismantle the Hyperjell cap and remove the clip like shown below, then proceed to cut off the top of the cap where the 2 square shaped holes are (do not cut farther below):

10. Push the cut Hyperjell cap onto the G2 large body piece until it clicks and remains on there firmly. Then sand/file the Hyperjell cap until it meets the base of the G2 large body piece like shown below:
11. Slide an insert inbetween the Hyperjell cap and the G2 body and push it all the way in until it stops. Trim off the extra paper then the cut away the excess G2 body and sand until it meets the base of the Hyperjell cap like shown below:
12. Insert the clickers back into the cut G2 large body piece, apply the middle 3-ringed cut piece of Profile grip to the end of Hyperjell cap, apply the end 3-ringed cut Profile grip to the MM/CT/AC/KT body, push on the retractable mechanism and finally push the profile grip up to meet the end of the retractable mechanism piece like shown below:
13. Empty out the G2 inktube (keep the plastic stopper) then tape it to the end of the IRT inktube. By use of trial and error, determine how much to cut off of the empty G2 inktube until the mod will retract fully and properly. This will vary for each person but I have shown how long mine was so you can see what I had. Remember to put the plastic stopper back in the empty G2 inktube after each cut.
14. Insert the Dr. Grip shaker piece into the cut, empty G2 inktube but push it in far enough for the plastic stopper to fit.
15. Push everything together and congratulations! You have just made a G2-CTE Evolved!

dont have any ink in it or maybe have it retract a thinner inktube, one where you wont need a shaker piece to even out the balance -
