Battlezone / [ladder-g] Special Ladder Format

The ladder is designed to be as flexible as possible so that players can be creative in both their videos and the format of the match. Here are some ideas for "special" match formats:
- Double, triple: The match is worth more than it's regular share. Note that although it is recorded as two wins/losses, it does not affect the rankings in the same way. For example if two players ranked 1000 battle twice in a row and one of the player wins both times, s/he will receive 50 points for the first win, and 42 points for the second win. If however they just battled once with double value, the winner gains 100 (50*2) points.
- Aggregate match-up: At the time of the challenge, the challenger does not declare a theme. If the challenged accepts, s/he has the choice of the theme for the first "leg" (first match). The challenger then has the choice of theme for the second "leg" (second match). The winner is declared by the most cumulative number of votes received (either by judges or public votes). In case of tie, the tiebreaker is the most number of votes on the opposing leg (on the match whose theme was decided by the opponent). If the tie persists, a win and a loss is declared on each participant. The match is counted double.
- Free-for-all (multiplayer): Matches that consists of more than 2 players battling each other. It is played like a regular match except that it counts as several matches at once. Therefore, the winner is considered to get a win against all other opponents, the second best wins against all below him/her etc... IE: A, B, C are in a free-for-all. A wins, therefore s/he gets a win against B, C. B is second, gets a win against C (and a loss against A). C is at the bottom, s/he lost to everyone. In case of tie, the recorded result is nullified between tied participants. IE: A and B are tied, C is at the bottom. A and B both record a win against C is the net result.
- Handicap match: These are "one vs many" matches. In order for the lone person to win, his/her video must be considered better than ALL of the opponents' videos. If s/he succeeds, s/he records a win against all of them. If s/he fails, s/he records a loss against all of them.
- Team match (aggregate): 2vs2, 3vs3, ... type of matches. This can be played either as an aggregate match, where the challenged team chooses a theme to participate for the first leg, and the challenger team chooses a theme for the second leg, etc... There are as many matches as the number of participants on each team, rounded to the next even number (thus, a 3vs3 match has 4 matchups, with one player playing twice for each team). After the theme is decided during each leg, each team designate one player to take part of the matchup. Opposing teams cannot know the others' lineup until the whole match is completed. All players must play (one player cannot take part of the two legs for one team). The winning team record a win against each of the enemy.
- Team match (free-for-all): This is exactly like a free-for-all match, except the team with the winning video each gets a win against the opposition.
- Skins game (multiplayer): This is based on the Skins billiard championship format. Once the three (or more) players have agreed on the number of skins to play, the order of play is determined at random. The first two players battle each other as like a regular match up (1vs1). The loser of that matchup then records a loss and his/her lost points are stored in a pool, called the "value of the skin". The winner of the match records a win, but no gain, and proceeds to battle again versus the next player on the rotation. After every battle, the winner stays on top, while the loser records a loss and transfers some points to the pool. The skin is awarded when a player managed to win three consecutive times; in other words, s/he wins against all the other opponents in succession. S/he then records the amount of points equal to the value of the skin. The pool is then reset to zero and the next skin begins (with the winning player still battling) until all skins have been awarded.
