General Discussion / Correlation between ps style and handwriting?

I was just thinkign about the possibility of a connection between how a person writes and how they spin..
I could be wrong, and there could be people with horrible handwriting yet still spin amazing..but i dunno
I tend to have a more "curvy" handwriting i guess, but not bubbly. And I'd say that's how i spin too. Not sharp and I aim for smoothness.
Oh, and my brother has horrible handwriting and he can't spin either (xD, bad example, he's not into penspinning) -

My writing is horrible, barely comprehensible.
my spinning? Ehh, depends how you look at it. It is incomprehensible to some, but i don't think is horrible ;D -

My spinning tends to be smooth and simple; my handwriting is really connected, sometimes entire words are a single scribbled line.

Well I had to stop my handwriting when I was 13, since I came to english school and the IGCSE rules simply don't allow that style of handwriting. Before that, my writing was ugly, now it's ugly aswell xD I don't really think this is connected since I think my fingers are good, while my handwriting is one of the worst.

my handwriting is really bad and unreadable and as a result I perform tricks that are too complex and not understandable lol
-

It seems we have a pattern, where if you have crappy hand writing start pen-spinning. I also have very crappy handwriting yet my style is smooth with lots of free flowing tricks.

gahhh...i think that i have good handwriting...i should just quit ps, i'll never be good anyway >.<'' (didn't start too long ago and so i'm still not that good yet, but then again, there are some people who are amazing at 2-3 months) -

How I write depends on my mood. Same goes for my spinning.

Well, my handwriting is a mesh of print and script. But it's still legible.
As for my style, I dunno. I guess it's quick and rough, or slow and smooth.
Really depends on how much I'm paying attention. -
Date: Wed, Dec 19 2007 01:45:32
lol my handwriting ... depends on how i feel at the moment. if i feel like getting a A on w/e it is then i'll try and eventually get fairly neat handwriting (at least it looks neat to me lol)
same with penspinning lol when i try getting a decent combo then it turns out fairly neat (sometimes it just sux though i don't know why maybe it's just because it's winter over here) -

Exactly what my handwriting is like. It doesn't matter if it is cursive or printing I tend to connect most letters. It is still very legible though. I think it is very cool. -

everyone i know says i have girly handwriting....i dont really know how to explain it other than saying its really neat. i'd say im a perfectionest because i dont do/finish anything until its the best it can be. this applies to my handwriting and my penspinning

My Handwriting = CRAP
My Spinning= CRAP
Thats the truth. Pure similarity -

dont be so hard on urself huroni, ur handwriting is probably very nice.
-
Date: Wed, Dec 19 2007 13:32:41
I think people with bad handwriting do original spinnings because their hands/fingers seem to be moving freely.
-

My hand writing is BIG and squarish...
How that relates to my style I don't know. -
Date: Thu, Dec 20 2007 12:32:50
Horrible handwriting, smooth spinning and all I guess.
Maybe there's something in what you said, Aphsamoth... -
Date: Thu, Dec 20 2007 14:40:02
kam has nice handwriting, but he has creativity in spinning also...
-
Date: Thu, Dec 20 2007 15:28:29
Well, I don't mean all creative spinners have horrible handwriting.
I would just like to say those who have bad handwriting are likely to be creative ones... -

ComSSA's are good for tagging. I dunno if anyone here does this but it'd be cool to see some pics if you do.

http://www.upsb.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=4393 really amazing

My handwriting is sharp and my spiinning is kinda sharp too...like its fast and smoothness comes along..not like i train my smoothness. There is corelation...not bad..
-

my handwriting is curvy and my teachers and friends still dont know if its cursive or print.
its a mix of both.
my spinning is curvy and not edgy -
Date: Tue, Aug 26 2008 23:45:42
As my friends say, they say my hand writing is the long lost ancient Linear C.
lol
Well it is pretty bad, and my friends complain that they have to translate my handwriting.
I spin badly too... -
Date: Wed, Aug 27 2008 00:13:22
I write in windings 2.
-
Date: Wed, Aug 27 2008 02:17:38
I write in all caps. I write pretty neat. How that relates to my style... I have no Idea. I just go with what I think looks cool... like my handwriting.
-
Date: Wed, Aug 27 2008 02:20:01
I write relatively fast and messy. My spinning is medium-fast and messy.
-
Date: Wed, Aug 27 2008 02:25:18
I write slowly and cleany, but while taking notes I write as fast as I can and it is very messy. My spinning relates to a combination of both of these. Pretty fast, and mostly smooth.
-

Lets see... My hand writing is EXTREMELY BAD. No joke.
I guess my spinning kinda relates to my handwriting as it is shaky at times. -

Reconsideration on the topic allows me to revise my idea above.
If you don't spin with your non-dominant hand in writing, try spinning with it. I expect you to spin a pen with your non-dominant hand far worse than with your dominant hand. I mean bad handwriting does not simply have lots with original spinning. Although those with bad handwriting look free of ordinary activity of their hands, I think even they always write in their own rule of letter shape, they don't write letters in totally different forms. -

my handwriting is like uba crap so does that mean my spinning is uba crap i certainly hope not
-
Date: Sat, Aug 30 2008 19:07:33
My handwriting is horrible, inconnsistant and really eligable, maybe that's why my pen spinning is the same...
-
Date: Sat, Aug 30 2008 20:18:45
My handwriting is hasty, becouse I write fast. I spin badly and slow. No correlation.
-
Date: Sat, Aug 30 2008 21:06:29
i write fast and its ugly. i spin fast and its ugly. lol

Handwriting has nothing to do with pen spinning. They are both muscle memory - they are both stored in the same area of the brain but - can't remember my biology shite just now... cerebellum? Meh, anyways - Muscle memory is seperated like files on a computer. If you go to program files, basically the cerebellum if I'm right... then go to your photoshop exe, paint isn't going to pop up is it? If you think "I'm gonna do some spinning" then pick up a pen, you're not going to start writing are you? They are completely independant, they are like two programs - your handwriting is crap, you're not going to try and change that because you've done it your whole life, but pen spinning is a relatively new program which is still advancing in complexity - changing something in the handwriting program won't change something in the pen spinning program. Jesus what a long explanation, and it's probably a load of crap... ::DD:D:D:D:DD:

Maybe you're right... I had just done millions of homeworks, so I was pissed, I'm a pretty pissed person but I'm starting to realise there's no point being pissed because you will soon forget what you're pissed at so you might as well get on with things so I never get pissed at people anymore if they try piss me off... I feel good that I figured that out, maybe this will help you nublets still living in the matrix... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
This doesn't really have any place in this thread. OH F****** WELL. Now I'm pissed...
