What is the heaviest mod and the heaviest retractable mod?
-
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 05:04:43
it just depends on how u make the pen, on average the heaviest mod would probably be a Dr.kt
-
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 05:27:34
Is a kt or a bonkura kt heavier, and as I ask what is the heaviest retractable mod?
-
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 05:33:22QUOTE (Xenophobe @ Dec 21 2007, 01:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Is a kt or a bonkura kt heavier, and as I ask what is the heaviest retractable mod?
bonkura kt and a norrmal KT and CT are the ssame things...
its just the body that they use...
bonkura kt - White body
dr. KT- Gray body
dr. Ct- Black body
and ive heard the FratMX2 is just as heavy if not heavier then a KT.
an for a retract...prolly hmm thats a hard one.
im not sure lol -
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 05:35:02QUOTE (Xenophobe @ Dec 21 2007, 12:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Is a kt or a bonkura kt heavier, and as I ask what is the heaviest retractable mod?
I think the bonkura kt and normal kt are the same weight... I thought the bonkura kt (well not the black one with dr.grip grips) was just a normal kt with really vibrant colored grips that he commonly used. -
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 06:00:53
i Shall Clarify
-------------------
Bonkura Black Kt: All Black Colortwin body/caps with 1/2 Dr. Grip Grips over each side holding the tip(about 1 gram heavier than normal Dr. KT, and has more momentum based spin)
Bonkura Kt(normal): White miffy/melanie body with any mix of Matching Light Colored SailorGels and Caps(spins same as Dr. KT)
Dr. KT(Original RYO): Silver Body with Black Caps and Red/Blue/silver Sailor Innovation grips
Dr. CT: Black body and usage of black or colored caps with any grip combination
(same weight as Dr. Kt)
-----------------------------
As For Your questionQUOTEWhat is the heaviest mod and the heaviest retractable mod?
The heaviest retractable mod Is Probably K4S's Original Shaker Anyball Pencil mod
That or a Retractable Metallic ComSSa. I have seen Retractable Dr. Kt's, but no plain out written tutorials.
-
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 15:28:21
for bonkuras kt he uses the miffy melini body but what kind of caps?
-
Date: Fri, Dec 21 2007 15:36:29
Ask about the Bonkura KT in it's own thread
-
Date: Sun, Dec 23 2007 02:47:39
My EXVP is extremely heavy cause i put a steel insert in it... weights like a 1/5 pound... hurts my fingers when i spin it too much
-
Date: Sun, Dec 23 2007 05:03:42
Tape five of those big ass batteries together and there you go.
-
Date: Sun, Dec 23 2007 05:12:56
dathroat's pen is heavier....
guess what is inside? pencil.. inside the pen!. lots of tips stacked together inside the cap... and a pilotg2EX tips on the outside. do i have to say more?
thou the tips stacked together is what i hear if i remember... havent see it.. but i tried it... HEAVY! i if i remember it is heavier than a drkt. -
Date: Sun, Dec 30 2007 22:09:29

-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 03:29:35
Yeah, KTs are around 21grams.......
-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 03:31:29
That must be like...
Amazingly heavy.
Like having it fall on the desk and leaving a dent heavy -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 03:41:00
thats crazy heavy
why not just spin a lead bar or somthing -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 04:33:19
That what I was thinking
-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 04:33:44
KT² is the heaviest one I know. I wouldnt recommend spinning it though. Its a KT with four tips.
The KT is already pretty heavy enough.
If a mod is really heavy and retractable, it may not be good idea. If its dropped hard enough, it may break the mechanism. -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 04:37:57QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 16 2008, 08:33 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>KT² is the heaviest one I know. I wouldnt recommend spinning it though. Its a KT with four tips.
Kt² is a joke hahaha
I wouldnt consider it its own mod -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 04:38:00
Saizen's G3 Mod is 24g...
And the KT^2 isn't technically a mod. But, damn, it is a monster compared to the other mods. xD -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 09:46:34
Pen Mawashi is 30g, that is the heaviest if you consider it as a mod.
-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 11:02:01
are pen'z gear heavy?
@dust_kid
i think penmawashi's are alot heavier than 30g. -
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 11:08:57
pen'z gear is like 19g or something IIRC.
-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 11:50:59
pen'z gear looks like a metal bar with caps on the end and painted and coated.
-
Date: Thu, Apr 17 2008 12:01:41
that question is kinda weird cause you can make a personal mod heavier than any KT i guess...
-
Date: Fri, Apr 18 2008 02:51:38

-
Date: Fri, Apr 18 2008 02:54:18

-
Date: Sat, Apr 19 2008 05:07:19
I have a kt with 6 dr. grip tips thats hard to spin and i keep on dropping it in class
-
Date: Sat, Apr 19 2008 05:32:10
i get a gold pen and fill it with gold and coat it with gold and get gold grips and make it 25 cm long and make it 1x1 for the body so it's a squar so it weighs
463.68 grams that is ccrazy heavy and unspinnable
maybe i calculated wrong i dunnobut yeah
but you can't actualyl ask'heaviest mod'
you can create a pen as heavy as you like -

acctually its quite easy to take a tiny bit of lead, form it into a disc and stick it in the ends of the caps with an upside down nail... ive done it before... no melting... -
Date: Sat, Apr 19 2008 07:40:57
you don't have to form it into a disk cause its a soft metal
-

lol -
Date: Sat, May 24 2008 04:33:35
Zig clean color stick mod.( Dathroat's type) To make it even heavier, i used dr.grip tip instead of G2EX tip. And to make it even more heavier, put three hgg tips inside the twi-art caps.( Inoob style) Now u have a freaking heavy mod.
-
Date: Sat, May 24 2008 17:23:28
Sweet jesus why do you people spin such heavy mods.

Lol you should try replacing the HGG tips with signo tips. I did that for fun and immediately dismantled it. -

do you really need more momentum? -

WOAH!!! BUSTER ZT!! zt alrdy weighs about 17g so adding 2 airfit grips and tips and that gonna be like 25g. Heavy, but i saw someone posting a 81g pen in SOYP 6 months ago, and that pen was EPIC WIN. -

y the hell would you care?
you prolly cant spin it anyway...
and you can basically make it yourself by putting whole bunch of heavy crap onto a pen -
Date: Sun, Feb 15 2009 04:25:18
ugh stop reviving this, this is a stupid thread
i could throw an inktube in a giant lead construction pillar and that'd be the heaviest mod -

Syn-Doraemonex?
-

Retractable MSXA. using 2 signo tips and 1 hgg tip on the cap side...
It would be a retractable mx with added comssa caps with anyball grips. -

the 81 gram pen is now 40 under, its my training pen and doesn't have much momentum
i use it to train smoothness in my spinning and see my mistakes look up Kuma's Mod in pending approved section
btw kams batterys are kinda icky imo they look gross but ok to spin
NoRice4U has spun my mod before in December at a meet, it was hard for him -
