Regular Pen Discussion / ZIG Painty Twin

Today while I was shopping for pens, I came across a shop selling this ZIG Painty Twin marker.
I would like to recommend to people as this is quite a good pen to spin with, and don't think there is a need to mod it.
And I think this will be the spinning pen for those who don't know how to mod their own pens?
It's a long marker, 20.5cm. Longer then my MX.
The good point of this marker:
Long
Weighty
The weight of the pen is very balance
The bad points:
Bad for scratching motion tricks like Thumb Around Reverse
The ends will normally go out of place if you happen to drop on floor, so recommended to spin on top of soft surface area
The caps does not allow you to grab at the tip and do tricks like infinities. -

could u add comssa/keityo caps to it ?
or try adding grips to the caps o.o -

Why is it bad for TAs Rev? I don't see anything that would block the motion.

Cos of the stickers of the pen makes it hard to "scratch".
Think is the texture... I need to "scratch" harder then normal to do a Thumb Around.
Adding grips, comssa or keityo caps?
Never think of that, maybe I might try to do something about it tml morning.
But not comssa or keityo caps(though its a good suggestion), its not available in Singapore =( -

If you do a TA Rev without actually scratching, and just do a push, there should be no problems. I don't think anyone has problems doing TAs Rev with the PDS Comssas that have stickers on them.
For the pen, just adding grips to the existing caps should work. Maybe using some kind of clear grip would be nice (Pilot Super Grip or Pilot Dr. Grip) if you want to keep the two-color look on the ends. -

Just removed the stickers, and the whole pen texture seems to be very sticky lol

Thx sketching for the dr. grip and the super grip idea. That came to my mind also, it will look a bit like ballsign mod(the cap part). And I was thinking of something like dr.kt, using dr. grip mechanic pencil tips. -

Isn't this a very thick marker?
I think I've seen it in Popular Bookstore before.
Never experimented with it though. -

Yup, I bought it from the Popular Bookstore, it cost me S$5.90.
Maybe next time when you happen to see this marker again, try experiment it =D
