    Is it worth buying?
I mean, what does it have over a normal Dr. Grip besides gel ink?

I've heard that it's really bad, and that it's not even balanced in the middle.

my guess that pen you are talking about is dr-grip gspec. those... they have some thing near the center that is heavy... thus can balance...

it is not good as it is relatively shorter and feels lighter than the dr grip that is well known to spin nice with.

i personally think that drgrip gspec is spinnable but not to a really good extent. dr grip on the other hand is kind of great if you get used to it. (for example. my two friends that are great spinners.. dont like drgrip.)

hope that sums it up for you. thou i can say drgripgspec (the one you are referring to i think) is not a good spinning pen. it has two version. one is pen while the other is shaker mechanical pencil. shaker have unstable weight distribution while the pen inktube is REAL SHORt.. less than 5cm.. not worth buying to me.

you should be refering to these

while the good one is this

the actual name is drgrip gspec.. well. in my area(singapore) the commercial goes PILOT DR GRIP center of GRAVITY.. and have some witch thingy lol

well... center of gravity is not recommanded to buy.. serious... shaker version have a metal tube inside for shaker... thus center point changes. and the pen... ink tube is real short..

    get drgrip. not drgrip gspec

If you're in the U.S. they never sold the shakers with the key chain hole in the first place. They sell shakers with a clip in the U.S.
