I'm oh so confused

now im not sure which one im doing. from a quick research ive made, the motion of the two is the same, but in the back around it goes more on the back of the hand, and in the latter mentioned above it just spins aroudn the finger
is that it?
now theres this trick, i think, i see it a lot in asian motages etc... it looks like a backaroudn or a fingerless reverse index around, but they keep doing the motion so the pen keeps spinning in the air.
whats it called? -

Okay.
The one that just spins around on just the finger: Korean Backaround aka Bak
Spins on back of hand: Weis Backaround
Continuous motion: Reverse Korean Backaround
Video Tutorials:
Korean Backaround
Weis Backaround
Bak Reverse
EDIT:
Sorry for the busted links, that's odd...
Just check out the video tutorial thread at the top of the Advanced Trick board. -

No no no. We should try to stop using Korean as the description of the trick (i.e. modifier). The name Fingerless FingerAround Reverse will suffice. And the Bak was never meant to be a abbreviation of the Fingerless FingerAround Reverse. It's more appropriate being that of the original Weis(sian) BackAround.
BTW, your links are not working. -

although i agree that it's probably more appropriate to call the weis backaround the bak, i think that too many people have already adjusted to calling the "fingerless fingeraroudn reverse" the korean seeing as how that name is much too long compared to kor back
but korean backaround-spins by the tip of the finger
wies backaround-spins on the back of the hand-abv. 'bak'

read sketching and zombo's posts in here and their clarification of this naming issue -

it goes the same direction -

1 rotation is the fingerless reverse index around/korean backaround (same thing)
if it were continuous, then that'd have to be stated
if it wasn't stated, then it's wrong
Edit: yay, i'm an old timer now -

The direction of the spin was never meant to define whether or not it's Normal or Reverse. If you look around the trick list, you'll notice that for the Normal (for right-handed and palm down), Sonics and Arounds spin in the counter-clockwise direction while Passes and Wipers spin in the clockwise direction. The BackAround just happens to be in the 2nd group.
