I can't find any info on this trick, can someone tell what it is?

From this video I guess it's something with inverse sonic + sonic normal (and charges)
    But Im newb tongue.gif

See, i was fiddling with in out sonic and i thought it was "inverse sonic 34-24 ~ sonic 24-13-12"...no charge in between like that video...more of a hybrid trick almost but i might be wrong.

I'm pretty sure it's just Inverse 34-23 -> Sonic 23-12...maybe with an extra charge in the middle...
    Nothing too complicated really.
Out-In Sonic is really easy, this isn't much harder.

I believe that K4S is right about in out sonic being a hybrid and his breakdown is correct. Inverse sonic 34-23-> charge 23->sonic 23-12 is just a combo. Be safe and just use hybrid notation so people dont get confused.

Correct, the video doesn't show an In-Out Sonic. It's just the Inv Sonic and Sonic, like everyone else said.

    Charge 0.5 34 ~ Inverse Sonic 0.5 34-12 ~ Sonic Normal 34-12

    Charge 34[p][s 0.5] ~ Inverse Sonic 34-12[s 0.5] ~ Sonic Normal 34-12[c]

Do half a Charge Normal 34 with the middle finger bent in, perform an Inverse Sonic 34-12 in this position, rather than keeping the middle finger straight as you normally would do for Inverse Sonic 34-12. Rather than the pen moving over the inside of the middle finger. With the pen moving over the outside of the middle finger, the end is more like a Sonic Normal ending.

I'm having trouble with that notation, is there a video of this trick?

I don't know if there is a video out there besides what tohlz should have on his Penstudioz website, if he still has a video there. Go search Youtube. Just do an Inverse Sonic 34-12, once you can do that, do it with the middle finger bent in so that the pen still bounces off the inside of the index finger, but moves over the outside of the middle finger instead of the inside.

It is important to note that while this trick sounds complicated, the pen only do 1 rotation.

    Charge 0.5 34 ~ Inverse Sonic 0.5 34-12 ~ Sonic Normal 34-12

    Charge 34[p][s 0.5] ~ Inverse Sonic 34-12[s 0.5] ~ Sonic Normal 34-12[c]

I'm pretty sure the trick involves only 1 rotation of the pen. It's more like Inverse Sonic 34-23 [p][s 0.5] ~ Sonic 23-12 [s 0.5][c].

Out In Sonic will have 2 rotations, but it's a combo instead, with the breadown of Sonic Normal 34-23 > Inverse Sonic Normal 23-12.

Yeah, if I'm doing it correctly, the first Charge bit takes half and gets the pen moving, the second half is performed pretty much like a regular Inverse Sonic 34-12, but with the middle finger positioned as it would be in a Sonic Normal, thus still applying the "out" portion and still only involving 1.0 rotation total.

Hmm, in my case, the pen starts almost immediately at position 24. I don't really understand how a Charge is done partially before the Inverse Sonic. Maybe it's just a different way of execution.

Anyhow, I'll try to explain the trick from my understanding. In the Inverse Sonic, the pen takes just 0.5 spin to change finger positions, but another 0.5 spin of Charge is done to reset the pen to the normal position. For In Out Sonic, the 1st half of the trick is the same as the Inverse Sonic. As for the second half, instead of a Charge to reset the pen, a Sonic is done instead. That's the basic difference.

    does 14 touch?

if so, i do it all the time. smile.gif

@yxTay: Here's how I do Inverse Sonic, a 0.5 Charge is needed to get into the starting position if I'm holding the pen in a Sonic Normal position...
