Advanced Tricks / Extended Thumbaround Reverse

I was thinking of the motions, and the way the pen spins, and the closest thing I got was something along the lines of a Korean Backaround 2.0 T12-T12.
Would that be right? -

hmm...i was thinking about this too and so i was thinking how since in a normal ext. ta, it's a ta and then goes around the index, the reverse would be a reverse ta and then eihter a korean back or weis back
i couldn't choose between the two since it depends on where the pen spins around the index from the ext. ta
mine tends to go near the base of my knuckle, so i'd say the rev ext. ta would be rev ta>weis backaround
but after watching the vid of ext ta in the wiki, i'd have to say rev ta>korean backaround -

No JC, a reverse means that it travels the same path, but in the reverse order.

I suppose... yeah.
That actually sounds better. -

If Extended Thumbaround is:
Thumbaround T2-T1 ~> Fingerless Indexaround 0.5 T1-12 -- 1.0 + 0.5 = 1.5 rotations
...then Extended Thumbaround Reverse makes sense as:
NeoSonic 12-T1 ~ Fingerless Thumbaround Reverse T1-T2 -- 0.5 + 1.0 = 1.5 rotations -

Oh yeah, it seems like there's two revolutions, but there's really only one and a half.
Sketching, do you think you could make a video of it? -

Uh, you know what an extended TA looks like, right? All you need to do is the reverse of it and you will have an extended TA reverse. No need for a video really =\

I do, because I keep getting two revolutions. It sometimes becomes a korean backaround ~ FL TA Rev -

Oh, I was doing it right then!
Thanks Sketch! -

That's how i do my extended TA reverse and i only get 1.5 rotations. What sketching does i refer to as fake double but i probably have them mixed up. -

that's odd, eso's tutorial mentions how the ext. ta has 2 revolutions, so my ext. ta also has 2 revolutions
what is that?
what's the diff. between that (sketching's) ext. ta and rev ext. ta and how eso teaches it o.0... -

JC, it LOOKS like there are two revolutions, but in actuality there is only 1.5

in eso's tutorial, i'm pretty sure that the pen ends back in the same position as it had started so isn't that 2.0 revolutions?
Edit: oh, you know what, i think that it's cause in sketching's video, he doesn't rotate it back down which would have given it an extra 0.5 revolutions, bringing him back to how he had started
if i don't swing the pen back down, it's the same as how sketching did it too
nvm then, i got it -

The wiki says it all...
Extended Thumbaround has 1.5 rotations and ends in the 12 slot.
Fake Double has 2.0 rotations and ends in the T1 slot.
Tornado is what you all are talking about. It's another way of doing Fake Double, it has 2.0 rotations and is the Thumbaround ~ FL Indexaround hybrid that ends in the T1 slot.
Edit: or I guess it could end in the T12 slot too.
Edit:
Eso's tutorial teaches you to do a combination of Extended Thumbaround & Fake Double since he catches the pen in T12 slot instead of either the 12 slot or the T1 slot. I'd call it Tornado.
Edit 2: just to try to confuse you all even more () you can also do the following fun hybrid:
Thumbspin 1.5 T2-T1 ~ FL Indexaround 0.5 T1-12
This hybrid has 2.0 rotations but ends in the 12 slot and still looks somewhat similar to everything listed above. It doesn't have a name though, cause it's just another hybrid.
Edit:3: Extended Thumbaround, Fake Double and Tornado: read this thread and ask any questions about the differences in that thread. -

wow...so many technicalities , but thanks for the clarification
