@Skittles: the linked pen mod does not use anything from a Monami 153, so I'm guessing that they are different.

The mod on penwish is pretty much a double comssa capped monami 153...with some small modifications in between to allow the ink to come out of the cap etc.

O.o I didnt notice this on penwish before. seems like a nice comssa style retractable mod without having the remove the cap to access the clicker part happy.gif

....so the comssa retract uses the monami 153 mechanism to make the pen come out???
    sorry a bit confused

Yes, the only difference is that there is a hole in one of the comssa caps that lets the inktube out.

I forgot I started this topic, haha.

Anyway I bought one from penwish, it came yesterday... and had parts to make another one, so i made another today. There's a video tut by mr. lsc with no words.

RandomNewb, you're right but there are some modifications (very small) done to monami body, you don't just stick on comssa caps.

Since the thing I made today from mr. lsc tut was the UK comssa, and it appears identical to the comssa 153 retr from penwish, i think it's safe to say they are the same.

edit: I ordered the "s-2" one on penwish, i'm not sure if that's different in some way from the regular? http://penwish.com/product_info.php?cPath=...products_id=685

I really like it btw^^ it'll be great for spinning in school, never have to take off a cap.

haha i knew about it for a while now...but i was too lazy to post any info. Clam was right-
it's the UK comssa made by Mr. LSC. I also think that picool made a tut video on how to make one too

it's i think hexagontal but u only have to get used to the pen that's all. If u're alright with spinning a no. 2 pencil, then it'll be fine i guess

I'm supposed to be getting this in a trade soon, so I hope it'll work out fine.
I love spinning Monami 153s, so hopefully this pen will be nice.

The guy I'm trading with called it a UK comssa.

It's definitely "grippier" than a circular barrel, which to me is a good thing.
