    Eh, it's kinda hard to do a 1:1 translation because of some wordplays but i'll try to make it as close as possible.

A young guy from Aachen(city) is master in this handacrobatic, he even earned money with it. How he twirls the pen through his finger is showed to you by Pamela Schuppner (the dudette who arranged this interview, i guess)"

    Voice: "Sitting bored in his room, there's nothing like that for Robert Heim. Eventually he always has something on his hands. The 20 year old is penspinner, a professional pen twister (meh cant translate that cuz penspinner would be the translation). The Aachener knows more than 300 spin combination, without a pen in his hands, he's missing something."

    Robert: "Addicted? Yes, i'd say so. It's just in general that i have play with my fingers as soon as i get something into my fingers i start playing around with it."

    Voice: "The trick is practice, practice practice and a good balanced pen. The IT-students builds them himself because pens ain't pens(meh)"

    Robert: "With some things some tricks are easier to do. If the pen is longer it spins slower and if it's heavier you have more control over the pen. You modify and rebuild the pens so that they are more balanced, the weights are at the end for a higher momentum so more centrifugal force so that the pens fly easier through the finger."

    Voice: "Robert spins for 2 years now, a classmate showed him the first tricks. Since them he's crazy (meh they had a wordplay again) and tries to get other people spinning and beside fine motor skills and concentration they need a lot of patience."

    Mario Kreyls: "Show me something easy!?"

    Robert: "*laughs* Uh that are the most easy basic tricks. I'll show you another one, it's the thumbaround the pens goes once around the thumb.

    Mario Kreyls: "It's looks so easy but it isn't i guess you need sure instinct (blame dictionary if wrong) and dexterity but i guess that's not what i have."

    Robert: "Most people aren't used to use their hands to use the fine motor skills and yeah it looks easy but that is one of the hardest things in penspinning. Making hard things look easy."

    Voice: "With his penspinning tricks he even earned some money, a cellular radio company hired for him for a Tv campaign, since then he's famous well atleast his hands."

    Voice: "But even the pro makes mistakes and then it's practice practice practice for Robert but he can say goodbye to boredom."

    definitively an unique situation in Turkey: they do not have a community yet, but they already have a televised live tournament! The only other community to have such event is PDS. Expect a Turkish site soon.

    Tombow, well it was held in Turkey, they dont even have a community there (yet). The reason they had a tournament was cuz tombow was looking for a way to promote their pens in Turkey so they used a PS tournament where they all spin tombow, even though there's not many who can actually spin a pen there...

    this is probably going to sound realy weird to you, but i would be really happy if anyone had the clip of Yoah and I?

    we asked the newsprogram for the clip after they had filmed it and they just said that we had to call to them later.. so we did, and we were told that we could buy the (~1min) clip for something like 300$ confusedsmilie.gif ..
    obviously we did not want to do that. and at that time none of us knew that it was possible to record streamed movies from the internet.

    it was streamed at their homepage for 1 year, maybe someone was smarter than we was and recorded it?. I would be realy happy if someone has smile.gif

    Woah, look what i found while randomly browsing youtube.. what a huge coincidence, I was watching videos off crane crashings, find out about this "foxblast" thing, then realized that it was a total waste of time.

    I started this video, got bored 5 seconds into it, started doing homework, i hear the word penspinning, i look up and was like

    what the fuck, i swear that was agut. Then i realized this particular episode happened to cover pen spinning. What a coincidence!

    Anyways, here is the video. I find it really strange how fox managed to cover pen spinning in Japan, but have yet to do so in the USA.

    Only reason he said that it was the "Only Pen Made for Pen-spinning" was to appeal to Americans, where it is the only pen made for pen-spinning in the U.S.A. Not many people would bother shipping from Japan for the Pen'z gear or penmawashi, hence, they hold a monopoly on pen-spinning (for now).

    From the starting, I think the show is a variety/talent show whereby participants "challenges" the host to an activity and starting was just introduction and the host joking and dissing (jokingly) CNstar.

    The whole show is just funny and cute with all the jokes xD

    He doesn't do pen tricks when zoomed out..all he does is like kick it and bounce it off stuff and throw it around. Every time he does any real spinning it's zoomed in on his hand.

    guy pen spinning = minwoo

    bald guy = full body shown
    minwoo = just the hand
