I have a friend who was born with these weird hands, and i really want to see if he can pen spin lol. I dont kno him rlly well, but he can bend his fingers at sort of a 5th joint in his fingers....its hard to explain, but it looks like his smashed it in a door (no joke), and he can bend his fingers to nearly touch the back of his palm. What would be the best way to say "you would be a f***ing amazing pen spinner " w/o scaring him off lol? (pen spinning isnt super popular in my school)

You can't force him to be a pen spinner if it doesn't interest him. Just show him some pen spinning, and if he likes it, then tell him to go for it. If not, just let him be.

Maybe you should just say, "Hey, wanna try pen spinning?" then show him some moves....

Might be handful with extra flexibility.

it isn't really extra flexibility. he still needs to use his other hand to bend his fingers back.

I wonder what a backaround of his would look like sonice his finger can touch the back of his palm. You should try and get him to pen spin.

we already have a thread in the hand care for double joints, use this thread only for suggestions on how to convince someone to start psing.
